Good day, parents, and guardians!

On Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 1-4 p.m., our Kids Church will host an event for parents and kids. We encourage everyone to join this program, which is entitled "CONNECT."

There will be separate sessions for the parents/guardians and for the kids.

TOPIC:
PARENTS/GUARDIANS: Building a strong and healthy relationship with my family (kids) based on Biblical principles and values. Making our House not just a shelter place to stay but a Loving Home to live. (Creating a safe environment for my kids)

KIDS: Belongingness in Family and Acceptance in Community (Identity in Christ)

Is there a story that you are always eager to share? that when you share it, you are full of energy and so lively that the people you are sharing it with will be able to appreciate it the way you appreciate it? I know we all have that one story, either from a book, movie, series, life event, etc., and we all love sharing things because that's how we were created.

Yes, that's right! We are all created to be messengers of not only the stories of this world but also the good news—the gospel of God. God created us this way because He wants us to share who He is with other people so that they will also enjoy His love and be witnesses of who He is.

Parents, we pray that your family will be God's messenger to your home, to your relatives, to your friends, to your community, and even to the nations. May your testimonies be shared with a genuine heart and a spirit full of love.

Have you ever been to a place where people don't speak or understand even the universal language, which is English? It's not easy, right? But do you know that it is still possible to communicate with them and be friends with them? Yes, you heard it right; it is possible, just like what happened on the day of Pentecost. People from different places were gathered together and spoke different languages, but they understood one another and worshipped God together through the help of the Holy Spirit, and because of this, three thousand men were saved.

Whenever you go and whatever you do (to glorify God), if you have Christ in you, everything is possible.

Parents, may this week's lesson help you see things the way God sees them, and may you help your kids do the same too.
