In this meeting, teens are encouraged to create something to give to their parents as a way to show love and honor, as the Bible verse says: "Children, obey your parents [in the Lord], for this is right. Honor your father and mother. This is the first commandment with a promise, that it may go well with you and that you may have a long life on earth." (Ephesians 6:1-3)
It's a good practice that we should show every day! 💖

Another day of the teens' gathering where we discussed The Story of the Prodigal Son.

The father in the story demonstrates God's unconditional love and grace toward us. He is always ready to forgive, no matter how far we've strayed—He is willing to restore us. His forgiveness allows us to experience freedom and peace, which helps us extend that same love and forgiveness to others.

Memory Verse: Psalm 145:8 - "The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love."

Afterward, Kuya Ronald , Ate Princess, and Ate Jocille assisted the teens in memorizing the memory verse, coloring the pages, and guiding them in answering the list of questions about the discussion.

The Youth Leadership decided to talk about "Teaching & Practicing Love."

Here's a summary of what we discussed: Love is more than words – it's action. Jesus calls us to love unconditionally, with patience, kindness, and forgiveness. True love is shown through what we do, not just what we say. When facing pain or anger, take a moment to receive God’s love and respond with grace. We can’t love on our own; we need His guidance. Make time for God and let His love transform you.
