Snapshots form our weekly apostolate at Amlac Feeding Center.

Today, together with our young Catholics, we learned about the significance of Ash Wednesday, marking the start of Lent – a 40-day journey of reflection, prayer, and fasting leading up to Easter.

Through fun activities, our youth discovered the beauty of Lent as a season of spiritual renewal and growth. They learned that the 40 day observance of lent mirrors Jesus' 40-day fast in the desert. And the ashes on our foreheads are powerful reminder of our mortality and need for repentance.

Lent is all about the three pillars: almsgiving, fasting, and prayer. It's like a spiritual reboot for our souls. Growing in faith and community with our young Catholics.

Love was in the air at Caritas Learning Center last Monday, February 9, 2026.

We celebrated an early Valentine's Day with our Prince and Princess of Hearts activity, and it was pure magic. Our little royals wore their best dresses, gowns, and suits, shining with confidence and glamour. The dance floor was filled with laughter and joy as they twirled and ramped their way through the day.

But the real stars of the show were our amazing parents, who beamed with pride as they watched their little ones shine. We love seeing our learners grow and thrive, and this activity was the perfect way to celebrate love, friendship, and community.

Book Character Day at Caritas Learning Center

The center came alive with color, creativity, and imagination as our students proudly dressed up as characters from their favorite stories. The Caritas Sisters of Jesus, together with the Servants of Charity priests and brothers, embarked on a heartwarming apostolate mission to share the love of Baby Jesus with families living under the bridge in Muñoz, Quezon City.

With the help of our volunteer scholars, we were able to bring Christmas cheer to these families through gift-giving, reminding them that they are loved and valued members of our community.

As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, let us spread love, kindness, and joy to all those around us, embracing the spirit of inclusivity and compassion. May we be reminded that every person is deserving of love, care, and celebration, and that together, we can make a difference in the lives of others.

Wrapping up the year with love, laughter, and joyful memories!

At the Caritas Learning Center, our learners stole the show with their incredible performances during the Christmas party celebration, bringing the holiday spirit with the festive games, and filled the air with sweet melodies of Christmas carols alongside their parents.

The highlight of the day was seeing the smiles on their faces as they shared in the feast and enjoyed each other's company. It's moments like these that remind us of the true spirit of Christmas - love, happiness, and togetherness.

What a heartwarming celebration we had at the 9th Christmas Culminating Activity at Amlac Feeding Center, Payatas Quezon City.

The children shone bright with their incredible talents, from energetic dance performances to angelic voices singing Christmas carols, and a beautiful reenactment of the birth of Jesus Christ.

As the month of November unfolds, we're reminded of the importance of prayer and remembrance for our beloved departed loved ones. Yesterday, our Caritas Amlac scholars and Mothers Love visited the cemetery to pay tribute to the faithful departed souls who may have been forgotten. With flowers, candles, and heartfelt prayers, they asked that these souls may enter the heavenly kingdom of God, where love and joy reign eternal.

As followers of Christ, let's continue to remember our departed loved ones in prayer, seeking their peace and happiness. May their memories inspire us to live lives of love, faith, and service to others.

"May eternal light shine upon them, may they rest in peace."

Let us hold them close in our hearts and pray for their souls, that they may find eternal rest in the presence of God.
