Day 2 - November 17, 2024 of FSMJPIC - Young Franciscan Advocates "JPIC Theatre Wokrshop" with a theme of "Upbringing the cuture and arts through JPIC"
The second day started with a rehearsal and polisihing of their performance for the showcase night, and applied what they have learned during the first day of workshop.
During the afternoon session all members attended the Advocafaith program an orientation about the organization and basic formation about Franciscan Sipirtuality with a theme of "Advocacy in the Spirit of Saint Francis: Unveiling your purpose"
All members are given a chance to discern if they will continue to commit their life to undergo series of formation, workshop and activities under the organization.
In the evening, we invited all the family and relatives of the workshop completers to witness their performances, and the program started with a Eucharistic Celebration presided by Rev. Fr. Fernando Radin Jr. OFM, OFM-JPIC Animator and National Spiritual Adviser of Young Franciscan Advocates. During the mass we witness also the acceptance of new members and the renewal rites of old members.
We would like to thank, the family and relatives of the workshop completers who attended the showcase night, and all of the performers of Young Franciscan Advocates from the new and old members, the special participation of San Pedro Bautista OFM Postulancy for making this night possible. To our workshop facilitators the Kalipaya Theater Ministry most especially to Direk Albert Saldejano Jr. and Robi Robles.
With a grateful heart we extend our gratitude to our office the JPIC - OFM Philippines Province of San Pedro Bautista, Franciscan Solidarity Movement - Fsmjpic and all the donors who make this event possible. The Pastoral Team of Basilica Minore de San Pedro Bautista, especially to the Guardian of community Rev. Fr. Elias Manlangit, OFM, Province of San Pedro Bautista the OFM Franciscans - Philippines, and the OFM Postulancy of San Pedto Bautista for providing the venue and accomodation of our participants.
You may directly contact the organizers for those who want to witness the presentation in their community and help our young people to promote awareness and openness to others to what is really happening now in our society. From this presentation we can reflect on how we can celebrate the upcoming Christmas Celebration.
