Topic: STAY CALM ✨

Text: Exodus 14:13-14 NLT
[13] But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. [14] The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”

C-hrist must be the focal point of each conflict.

- Isaiah 9:6 NLT
[6] For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

A-lways rely on His assurances.

Why does God Allows Pain, Trials and Suffering in Life?

1 Peter 1:6-7 📖

6 In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7 These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

Reasons why God allows Pain

1. Sin (Self Reflection)
2. To Humble Us
3. To Refine, Redirect, Align Us
4. To Mature Us
5. To Draw us closer to Him
6. To defend only to Him
7. To Display His Power and Glory

Godly Response/ Solution

1. Run to God
2. Stand Firm in His Promises
3. Fix your eyes on Eternity
4. Surrender- Give it to God (your pain, suffering)

" [31] Sinabi ni Jesus sa kanila, “Sa gabing ito, ako'y iiwan ninyong lahat, gaya ng sinasabi sa Kasulatan, ‘Papatayin ko ang pastol at magkakawatak-watak ang mga tupa.’ [32] Ngunit pagkatapos na ako'y muling mabuhay, mauuna ako sa inyo sa Galilea.” [33] Sumagot si Pedro, “Kahit na po kayo iwan ng lahat, hindi ko kayo iiwan.” [34] Sumagot si Jesus, “Tandaan mo, sa gabi ring ito, bago tumilaok ang manok, tatlong beses mo akong ikakaila.” [35] Ngunit sinabi ni Pedro, “Kahit na ako'y patayin kasama ninyo, hindi ko kayo ikakaila.” Ganoon din ang sinabi ng lahat ng alagad."

1. THERE WILL BE A SHAKEN MOMENT
- God allows shaking to reveal our weakness.
2. OUR OWN STRENGTH IS NEVER ENOUGH
- God Presence is not based on our strength, it based on God Faithfulness.
3. FALLING DOESN'T MEAN FORSAKEN
- Trials test your foundation not your value.
