𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 𝐁𝐎𝐃𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 | 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐋𝐀 𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑

Following the success of the Quezon City cluster, the Diocese of Greater Manila Area convened the clergy and sectoral leaders of the Manila Cluster for its Leadership Bodies Orientation on August 8, 2026, at the Parish of the Holy Sepulchre in Paco.

Led by Diocesan Bishop, the Right Rev. Vicente Salvador R. Ballesteros, the orientation gathered representatives from local parishes and missions to align organizational roles, clarify committee functions, and deepen our shared vision for the diocesan program. Through collaborative learning and spiritual guidance, the session reinforced our collective commitment to strengthen local governance and service across the cluster's communities.

We extend our gratitude to all participants for their dedicated presence as we continue moving forward together in faith, leadership, and mission.

Yesterday was a significant day for the Diocese of Greater Manila as clergy, treasurers, and auditors from every parish and mission gathered at the Parish of the Holy Sepulchre, Paco for the Uniform Financial Management System (UFMS) orientation.

This gathering reinforces our shared commitment to responsible stewardship, ensuring that every resource entrusted to our parishes and missions is managed with integrity and care.

𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 𝗕𝗢𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 | 𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗭𝗢𝗡 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥

On July 25, 2026, the Diocese of Greater Manila Area convened the Quezon City Cluster Parish Councils for a Leadership Bodies Orientation at the Cathedral of the Crucified Lord.

The activity was led by the Diocesan Bishop, the Right Rev. Vicente Salvador R. Ballesteros.

The session brought together our clergy and sectoral representatives from Parishes and Missions in Kangkong, Balingasa, UP, Krus na Ligas, Tatalon, and Karangalan.

The orientation served to unify our understanding of the leadership roles, committee functions, and the program of our Diocese for the parishes and missions.

We look forward to continuing this process with the Manila Cluster on August 8, 2026 at the Parish of the Holy Sepulchre, Paco.

With gratitude to God, we gather in Christian fellowship as the IFI – Diocese of Greater Manila Area and the ECP – Diocese of Central Philippines, celebrating our shared faith and commitment to the mission of Christ.

Guided by this year's theme, "The Concordat Relationship: Its Significance and Challenges in Our Time," we reaffirm the enduring partnership between our Churches, embracing both its rich legacy and its continuing call to unity, mutual understanding, and faithful witness in today's world.

May this gathering strengthen our communion, deepen our collaboration in ministry, and inspire us to serve God and His people with humility, hope, and love.

𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗚𝗬 𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗥 | 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Noong ika-19 ng Hulyo, sama-sama nating ipinagdiriwang ang pormal na pagtatalaga kay Rev. Fr. John Ernest Casayuran Tibay bilang Canon ng Katedral ng Kristong Nakapako sa Krus. Ang mahalagang okasyong ito ay nagmamarka ng panibagong yugto ng kanyang tapat na paglilingkod sa ating simbahan at diyosesis. Dalangin natin ang patuloy na biyaya at gabay ng Panginoon sa kanyang bagong tungkulin.

+Sa ngalan ng Ama ng Anak at ng Espiritu Santo. Amen

Diyos Amang Makapangyarihan sa lahat, pinupuri at pinasasalamatan kita sa araw na ito ng biyaya at pagtatalaga. Tunay na Ikaw ang nagtatawag ng mga manggagawa sa Iyong ubasan, at sa pagkakataong ito, pinili Mo ang Iyong lingkod upang gumanap sa tungkulin bilang Kanon ng Katedral ng Kristong Nakapako sa Krus.

Hinihiling ko po, na pagkalooban mo po ako ng espiritu ng karunungan, kababaang-loob, at katapatan. Bilang Kanon, nawa’y tunay akong maging katuwang ng aming Obispo sa pagpapanatili ng kaayusan, kagandahan, at kabanalan ng pagsamba sa Iyong Katedral—ang sentro ng buhay-pananampalataya ng aming diyosesis.

Pagtibayin mo na ang aking puso ay laging mag-alab sa pananalangin, lalo na sa sama-samang Liturhiya. Nawa’y ang bawat papuri at pagsamong itataas sa Iyo ay magsilbing tulay ng biyaya para sa buong pamayanan, sa mga maysakit, sa mga nangangailangan, at sa buong Simbahan.

Gawin Mo po akong isang buhay na saksi ng Iyong Pag-ibig. Nawa’y ang aking buhay ay maging salamin ng Mabuting Balita, may pusong nakikinig sa mga munting tupa, at may kamay na laging handang tumulong. Iligtas mo po ako sa tukso ng pagmamataas at sa halip ay bihisan mo po ako ng puso ng isang tunay na lingkod. Patuloy Mo pong pagpalain ang aking kalusugan, kaisipan, at espirituwal na pamumuhay. Sa mga sandali ng pagod o bigat ng tungkulin, ipaalala Mo sa akin ang tamis ng Iyong unang tawag at ang lakas na nagmumula lamang sa Iyo.

Aking hinihiling na ang bagong misyon na ito, sa patnubay ng Mahal na Birheng Maria. Ang lahat ng ito ay aking ipinapanalangin sa Pangalan ni Hesus ang aking Mahal na Patron ang Kristong nakapako sa Krus, na aming Dakilang Saserdote, kasama ng Espiritu Santo, magpasawalang hanggan. Amen

By the Grace of God, the Iglesia Filipina Independiente, Cathedral of the Crucified Lord joyfully announces the Installation of the Rev. Fr. John Ernest Casayuran Tibay as Canon of the Cathedral of the Crucified Lord.

We rejoice in this blessing with deep gratitude, receiving once more a servant chosen to guide with wisdom and a heart wholly given to God and His people.

We warmly invite all to be present at this sacred celebration on July 19, 2026, at 4 PM, at the Cathedral of the Crucified Lord, Brgy. A. Samson, Quezon City. The installation shall be presided over by His Grace, The Rt. Rev. Vicente Salvador Ballesteros, Diocesan Bishop of the Diocese of Greater Manila Area.

With prayerful hearts, let us come together in one spirit to honor this new beginning of leadership entrusted to him by the Church. May the Holy Spirit ever illuminate his path, and may he find lasting fulfillment in the joy of his calling, to walk after Christ, who came not to be served, but to serve.

The National Council of Churches in the Philippines (NCCP), in partnership with the Iglesia Filipina Independiente – Diocese of Greater Manila led by (Rt. Rev.) Bishop Salvador R. Ballesteros, and the Parola United Methodist Church, distributed 150 packs of rice to families affected by the massive fire that occurred on May 23, 2026.

This distribution marks the second wave of NCCP humanitarian assistance following the fire, which affected more than 2,000 families, or approximately 7,000 individuals. Beyond the immediate impact of the disaster, residents of the Parola community and nearby areas continue to face the threat of displacement due to ongoing development projects.

"Despite all the challenges we face in life, we should never forget that God is always with us. Through our faith, we must strengthen our unity so that our collective voice will be heard and we can continue to stand together against eviction here in Parola." — Ms. Miriam Fajilagutan.

"We at the Parola United Methodist Church will always keep our doors open for the families affected by this incident." — Rev. Leonora Macaday.

: THE GRAND COMEBACK CONCLUDED 🔥

Higit sa pagod at puyat, ang puso natin ngayon ay lubos na umaapaw sa kagalakan at pasasalamat! The long-awaited Diocesan Summer Youth Camp 2026 has officially come to a successful close, and we are ready to march forward, bearing our ultimate commitment: sa mga Yapak ni Hesus.

Mula sa bumubuo ng Diocesan Youth Executive Council sa pamumuno ni Bro. Scott Dane Aquino at sa Kapilyan nito na si Rev. Fr. EJ Tibay, ay taos-pusong nagpapasalamat sa tagumpay na pagbabalik ng ating Diocesan Summer Youth Camp, bagama't maraming pagsubok ay hindi naging hadlang upang maisakatuparan ito. At hindi ito magiging posible kung wala ang tulong, gabay, at panalangin ng bawat isa.

Our deepest gratitude and highest appreciation goes to The Right Reverend Vicente Salvador Ballesteros, for your fatherly blessing, guidance, and unwavering support in making this youth camp a reality once again in our diocese.

CONGRATULATIONS! You made this comeback historic. Ngayong tapos na ang camp, we challenge you to keep the fire burning! ❤️‍🔥 Do not leave the learnings, the memories, and the new friendships behind in the youth camp. Bring them home to your respective parishes and missions.

Our theme is not just a slogan but it is a lifetime commitment. Ang hamon sa atin: Kaya mo bang magpatuloy kahit matapos na ang camp?

Let us step out with courage, tumindig at bumoses. Sa bawat desisyon, sa bawat paglilingkod, at sa bawat pagsubok sa buhay, panindigan natin ang ating tugon: Ako ay sa mga Yapak ni Hesus.❤️‍🔥

Day 2 | Closing Worship and Recognition

During the Closing Worship, the youth delegates beautifully applied their learnings from the ministry sessions. Through the heavenly singing, the dedicated service of our altar servers, and the disciplined proclamations of our lectors, the youth proved that they are active disciples of Christ today.

Finally, the dedication of every parish and mission delegate was recognized and celebrated who made this long-awaited youth camp comeback a reality. As they receive their certificates and head back home, may they remember: "You are the hands and feet of Jesus in your communities. Go serve, and lead!"

Day 2 | Team Building

The second day of the Diocesan Summer Youth Camp 2026, was nothing short of exhilarating! The youth delegates were put to the test—not just of physical strength, but of faith, teamwork, and trust.

We kicked into high gear with our highly anticipated Team Building Activity, facilitated by the Parish Priest of the IFI Pandacan - Parish of Santo Niño, Rev. Fr. Severino Dancel Ismael.

Through every challenge, obstacle, and strategy session, the delegates were reminded that leadership is rooted in service, and unity is found in Christ.
