Perpetua Parish Ministry of Music in the Liturgy

Composed of the following working groups such as choristers & instrumentalists, cantors & psalmists, the objective of the Ministry is to guide all volunteer and employed pastoral musicians as to which direction we should take in helping the assembly sing the Liturgy at Sta. We enhance the Liturgy and lead the assembly in singing. We offer music not as mere entertainment or performance but as a form of prayer that hopefully can move others to pray fervently. May we all continue to glorify the Lord with the gifts and talents He has bestowed upon us.

On the 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time at Saints Perpetua and Felicity Parish 🎶🙏

Through every song, we continue to share our faith, lift hearts in prayer, and help make every celebration of the Holy Eucharist more meaningful. Wherever we are called to serve, may our music always be a humble offering to God and a reminder that we are one Church, one community, united in faith and love. ❤️

Rain or shine, we sing. We serve. We pray. 🎶✨

🌹 Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary 🌹

We joyfully celebrated the 6:30 AM Holy Mass, presided over by Fr. Reni, as we honored Mary, our Mother, on the Solemnity of her Assumption into Heaven.

As we celebrate Mary’s glorious “yes” to God, may her faith, humility, and love inspire us to continue saying “yes” to Him in our own lives and in our service through music. 💙🎶

Mary, our Mother and model of faith, pray for us! 🙏🏻

🌧️🎶 19th Sunday in Ordinary Time | Matthew 14:22–33

“Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.” — Matthew 14:27

Yesterday, as the rain continued to pour, the Gospel of Jesus walking on the water reminded us that storms may surround us, but God’s presence remains constant.

Like the disciples in the boat, we may sometimes find ourselves facing strong winds and uncertain waters. Yet Jesus calls us to keep our eyes on Him, trust His presence, and continue moving forward in faith.

And so, rain or shine, the SPFP Ministry of Music in the Liturgy continues to serve. Through our voices and music, we offer our gifts to God and help lead His people in prayer and worship—whatever the weather, whatever the circumstances.

May our service be like a song of faith: steady amid the storm, joyful in His presence, and always offered for His greater glory. 🎶🙏

Pagninilay:

Pagninilay:

✨ Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord ✨

Like Peter, James, and John, we are invited to ascend the mountain with Jesus, behold His glory, and listen to His voice. But the journey does not end there. Transformed by His presence, we are sent back down the mountain to serve His people with renewed faith, love, and hope.

May every celebration of the Holy Eucharist renew us, so that the light of Christ may shine through our music and our service.

"This is my beloved Son. Listen to Him." (Matthew 17:5)

17th Sunday in Ordinary Time

The Kingdom of Heaven is a treasure worth seeking, a pearl worth everything, and a gift worth sharing.

As members of the SPFP Ministry of Music in the Liturgy, may we always choose Christ above all else, offering our voices and hearts in joyful service. May every hymn we sing lead others to discover the greatest treasure—the love and presence of God.

"The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field..." (Matthew 13:44)

July 18 🎶 Music Ministry Formation | Mary, Mother of Hope Chapel 🙏✨

Grateful for a meaningful afternoon of learning, reflection, and spiritual renewal as we deepened our understanding of the Sacred Liturgy and embraced our calling as music ministers. 💙

Our heartfelt thanks to Bro. Rundolph "Randy" F. Bayaua, Diocese of Cubao Lay Coordinator and Lay Liturgical Minister for the Ministry of Worship, for sharing his wisdom and inspiring us to serve with greater purpose and devotion. 📖🎵

Representing the Sts. Perpetua & Felicity Parish Ministry of Music in the Liturgy (SPFP MML) were members of J2:5C (John 2:5 Choir), SPFVE (Sts. Perpetua & Felicity Vocal Ensemble), SPPC (Sts. Peter & Paul Choir), SPYO (Sta. Perpetua Youth Organization), TS (Theotokos Singers), and WC (Women's Choir). 🤝🎶

May we continue to be effective in action, gentle in ministry, and constant in prayer, using our voices not only to sing beautifully but, more importantly, to lead God's people closer to Christ. 🙏🎼

"Those who sing, pray twice." 🎵🤍

🌾🎶 SPFP Ministry of Music in the Liturgy

As we served the Lord on this 16th Sunday in Ordinary Time, may we learn to be patient and trust in God's perfect timing. Like the wheat growing among the weeds, may we continue to choose goodness, remain faithful in our service, and let Christ transform our hearts each day.

To God be all the glory! 🙏🎵
