From shared stories and quiet moments to laughter, prayer, and journey stations—every moment reminded us that we are never truly alone, and that 𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙥𝙨 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙪𝙨. 🫶🏻

Life can get really busy. Between school, work, family, responsibilities, and everything else, we sometimes forget to stop and ask ourselves:

This gathering is simply a chance to pause for a while, breathe, reconnect, and spend time with God and with one another.

As we celebrate 𝗦𝘁. 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗩𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, we give thanks for the lives of our priests, who have faithfully embraced God’s call to serve His Church with love, humility, and dedication. Through their ministry, they proclaim the Gospel, celebrate the Sacraments, and accompany God’s people with compassion, inspiring us to grow deeper in faith and holiness.

Today, we extend our heartfelt gratitude and prayers to our beloved Parish Priest, 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘆 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀

You will see broken people.
You will witness conflicts.
You will experience disappointment.
You may even be wounded by the very people who once prayed with you.

But don't you dare let the imperfections of people make you question the perfection of God.

The church has never been a gathering of perfect saints. It has always been a hospital for sinners being transformed by grace.

If you are only faithful while everything is beautiful, then your faith is shallow.

Anyone can worship when everyone is kind.
Anyone can serve when everyone agrees.
Anyone can stay when everything feels comfortable.

Real faith remains faithful even after seeing the ugly side of the church.

Don't confuse God's character with people's behavior.

People will fail you.
Leaders may disappoint you.
Friends may leave you.

But God has never changed.

So don't leave Jesus because Judas is still sitting in the church.
Don't abandon your calling because someone abandoned their character.
Don't let your eyes become so fixed on people that you lose sight of the Cross.

Stay faithful to God, not because the church is perfect, but because Christ is.
