Matthew 15:8 (KJV)
“This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.”
He’s more interested in our hearts than in our performance.
Sometimes, we think worship is just about singing loudly, raising our hands, or feeling the music.
We cannot worship the Lord while our hearts are far from Him.
He is not asking for performance—He is asking for our hearts.
“DON’T LET YOUR MINISTRY REPLACE YOUR WORSHIP.”
Worship is about Jesus, not us.
Sometimes, we get carried away by how “hype” the songs are. Worship is not about the song—it’s about the One we’re singing to.
Bago tayo tumayo, maghawak ng mic o instrumento, we must pray first and ask the Lord,
“IF WE’RE NOT HUNGRY FOR CHRIST, WE’RE PROBABLY TOO FULL OF OURSELVES.”
Jeremiah 29:13 (KJV)
“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”
