“𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗚𝗢𝗗’𝗦 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟” 📖🌿
𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝟰:𝟭𝟴–𝟮𝟮

God’s calling is not something we simply hear—it is something we are invited to 𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲, 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄. Just as Jesus called His disciples to leave their nets and follow Him, we are also called to trust His voice and step into His purpose for our lives.

𝗜. 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚
𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝟰:𝟭𝟴–𝟭𝟵
We are called to be 𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗲𝗻. Knowing God’s calling means recognizing that our lives have a greater purpose beyond ourselves.
→ 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗶𝗺 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

𝗜𝗜. 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗭𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚
𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝟰:𝟮𝟬
When we truly value God’s call, we make room for His presence and His Word in our lives.
→ 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀.

𝗜𝗜𝗜. 𝗙𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗪 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚
𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝟰:𝟮𝟭–𝟮𝟮
The disciples left what was familiar and followed Jesus. Following God’s call requires 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵, 𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗴𝗼 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝘂𝘀 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸.

Sometimes, we wait for the perfect moment, question if we are ready, or become afraid of what answering God’s call may require. But God does not call us without purpose. He knew us before we were formed, and His calling reminds us that our lives are meant for something greater.

𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘁—𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁, 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗶𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁. Because when God calls, our response should not be “Am I ready?” but “𝗬𝗲𝘀, 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱. 𝗜 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄.” 🤍🔥

This Saturday, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟱 𝗮𝘁 𝟵:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠, let’s set aside time to come together in God’s presence at 𝗩𝗖𝗔 𝗣𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆. 🤍

✨ 𝐌𝐈𝐃𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 ✨

𝐍𝐚𝐮𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐦𝐨 𝐛𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐠 𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐲𝐨𝐬 𝐬𝐚 𝐛𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐲 𝐦𝐨?

Romans 11:29 reminds us that “𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞.” Just as Jeremiah 1:5 tells us, God creates life with a purpose even before we fully understand what He is doing.

𝟐 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝟏:𝟖–𝟗 𝐄𝐒𝐕

So, what must we understand about God’s calling in us?

𝐈. 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬 — 𝐯.𝟖
God calls us to choose Him over our fear. Following His calling does not mean the absence of fear, but choosing to obey even when fear is present.

𝐈𝐈. 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 — 𝐯.𝟗𝐚
Because our calling is holy, our response should also reflect God’s principles. We are not called to serve with the bare minimum, but to give God the honor and excellence He deserves.
📖 Psalm 29:2; 1 Peter 1:16

𝐈𝐈𝐈. 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐝’𝐬 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 — 𝐯.𝟗𝐛
Our calling is not based on how qualified we think we are. God doesn’t call the qualified; He qualifies the called. What matters is not our own ability, but His purpose and grace working through us.

Sometimes, we may question whether we are capable, ready, or worthy of the calling God has given us. But the calling was never dependent on our perfection. 𝐈𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞, 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞.❤️‍🔥

Minsan, naranasan mo na bang mahusgahan dahil sa isang pagkakamali o kasalanang nagawa mo?

There are moments when we feel rejected, alone, and defined by our past. But the story of Zacchaeus reminds us that our past does not have to be the end of our story. In Christ, there is restoration, redemption, and a new beginning.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗯𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁?

𝗜. 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗚𝗼𝗱 — 𝗟𝘂𝗸𝗲 𝟭𝟵:𝟭–𝟰
When we feel alone, rejected, or longing for love and acceptance, 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗛𝗶𝗺. He sees beyond our mistakes and meets us with grace.

𝗜𝗜. 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗝𝗼𝘆𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 — 𝗟𝘂𝗸𝗲 𝟭𝟵:𝟱–𝟳
Zacchaeus welcomed Jesus into his home with joy. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘂𝘀, 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗺 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗷𝗼𝘆𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁. His presence changes the way we see ourselves and our lives.

𝗜𝗜𝗜. 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 — 𝗟𝘂𝗸𝗲 𝟭𝟵:𝟴–𝟭𝟬
Zacchaeus did not simply feel sorry—his encounter with Jesus produced a changed life. 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. We are called to turn away from our old ways and live differently because we have encountered our Savior.

“𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁.” — 𝗟𝘂𝗸𝗲 𝟭𝟵:𝟭𝟬

The world may remember our mistakes, but 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲. We are not defined by the labels placed on us or by the sins of our past. When we seek Him, receive Him, and truly repent, He gives us a testimony of restoration.

"𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐀 𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐘"

What makes a testimony meaningful? Is it the story of what we have been through, or the One who carried us through it?

A testimony is more than a story we share. It is a reminder of God’s goodness, a reflection of Christ’s work in our lives, and a calling to live in a way that points others to Him.

❤️ 𝟏. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭

A grateful heart remembers where God has brought us from. Even in seasons of difficulty, we can look back and recognize His faithfulness. Gratitude helps us see that every testimony is a reflection of His grace.

At the center of our testimony is not our strength, but Christ. He is the reason our lives can change, our faith can grow, and our stories can become a reflection of His love.

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲—𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴. A genuine encounter with Christ should continue to be seen in the way we think, choose, and live each day.

This Sunday, we were reminded that we can live out our testimony:

🌱 𝗜. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲
Following Jesus means allowing Him to change our mindset and choosing God above all. A transformed life begins with a transformed heart and perspective. (1 Peter 4:1; Colossians 3:1)

🕊️ 𝗜𝗜. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱
Our lives are no longer centered on our own desires, but on what God desires for us. We obey by turning away from sin and learning to listen to the leading of the Holy Spirit. (1 Peter 4:2–3; Acts 9:15)

❤ 𝗜𝗜𝗜. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆
Our testimony becomes meaningful when our words and actions agree. Integrity means being the same person in private and in public—faithful, trustworthy, and committed before God and others. (1 Peter 4:4–5; Psalm 15:1–5)

May our testimony never remain only a story we tell, but a life we continue to live. 𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁, 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆.
