"When you let God be the writer of your love story."

It can be a little cliché to hear people say:

“Wait for God’s timing.”
“The Lord knows the perfect person for you.”
“Keep serving God, and in His perfect time, He will bring someone into your life.”»

And honestly, sometimes, waiting can take a while.

There may even come a point when you get tired of waiting and start thinking, “Maybe I should just find my own way. Maybe I should take matters into my own hands and find that person myself. Maybe nothing would happen if I didn't do anything.”

But when you read the Bible, you’ll notice something beautiful about the way God brought people together.

Take Rachel, for example. Rachel didn’t have to go looking for Jacob. She was simply living her ordinary day. She went to the well—and at that seemingly ordinary moment, Jacob saw her.

She wasn’t desperately searching for someone. She was simply living her life, and God allowed their paths to cross at the right time.

And then there’s Ruth and Boaz.

After Ruth lost her husband, she didn’t go looking for another man. She focused on what she needed to do that day. She went to a field to gather grain and provide for herself and Naomi.

But God had a different plan.

Out of all the fields she could have gone to, Ruth ended up in Boaz’s field. It wasn’t just a random coincidence. God was intentionally directing her steps toward the person He had prepared for her.

And the rest is history.

So today, let this be a reminder: you don’t always have to find your own way.

Yes, waiting for God’s plan and timing can be exhausting. Sometimes, you’ll wonder if anything is ever going to happen. Sometimes, you’ll be tempted to take control and write the story yourself.

But trust Him.

Because when you let God write your love story, you may not know how the next chapter will unfold—but you can trust the Author.

When the Lord is the writer, the story will always be better than anything we could write for ourselves.

This is the story of a woman who lost her husband, yet despite everything she had gone through, she chose to put her faith in God.

In Ruth 2:1–3, Ruth said, “Let me go to the fields and pick up the leftover grain behind anyone in whose eyes I find favor.”

Look at what Ruth was expecting.

She was only expecting leftovers.

She wasn't expecting abundance. She wasn't looking for something great. She simply wanted enough grain to provide for herself and Naomi (his husband's mother) for that day.

But what Ruth saw as “leftovers,” God saw as an opportunity for provision.

Ruth ended up working in a field that belonged to Boaz, a relative of Naomi's family.

And as the story continues, we see how Boaz instructed his workers not to touch or rebuke Ruth. Instead, he INTENTIONALLY told them to leave some grain behind for her to pick up. (Ruth 2:15–16)

He also gave her food and water, allowed her to continue working in his fields, and eventually became a significant part of God's greater plan for her life.

Ruth went to the field expecting only enough for the day, but God provided more than what she expected.

And that's what makes Ruth's story so beautiful.

Ruth thought she was looking for provision, but God was already preparing it for her.

When Ruth chose to follow Naomi and declared, “Your God will be my God,” she was choosing to trust God even though she didn't know what her future would look like.

She didn't know where her next meal would come from.

She didn't know what would happen to her.

She didn't know that she would end up in Boaz's field.

BUT GOD KNEW.

And that's the thing about God's provision: we don't always see where it will come from, but God already knows what we need.

Sometimes, we worry because all we can see is what we have left.

We look at our situation and think, “Will this be enough?”

We look at our resources and say, “What if I don't have enough for tomorrow?”

But Ruth reminds us that our provision is not limited by what we can see.

Ruth only saw enough for one day.

God was already preparing her future.

And sometimes, God may not give us everything at once. Sometimes, He provides one day at a time, one step at a time, one blessing at a time.

We may not understand how He will provide. We may not see the opportunity He is preparing. We may not hear the conversations happening behind the scenes.

But just because we don't see it doesn't mean God isn't working.

God's provision may already be on its way, even while we are still praying for it.

So don't lose faith because what you have today seems small.

Because what looks like little in our hands can become more than enough when it is part of God's provision.

Trust the God who sees what you cannot see, knows what you need, and provides even before you know how to ask for it.

Who doesn’t want to be rich?

Most of us want to live a comfortable life—to have enough to provide for our needs and to give our families the things they need and even some of the things they want.

There is nothing wrong with wanting a comfortable life. But sometimes, we may think that becoming rich is simply about having more money and being able to afford everything we want.

The Bible gives us a different perspective.

1 Timothy 6:9–10
“Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.”

There is nothing wrong with money itself. The problem begins when we love money so much that it becomes the center of our lives—when all we think about is how to get more of it.

When that happens, we can slowly begin to depend more on our own abilities and resources than on God’s power.

We may also lose our contentment with what we already have.

We keep wanting more.

We keep comparing our lives with others.

And before we realize it, we become so focused on gaining wealth that we forget the One who gave us everything we have.

Apostle Paul also reminds us to learn contentment. If we have food to eat and clothes to wear, we should learn to be satisfied and grateful, because not everyone in the world has even these basic necessities.

And most importantly, let us be thankful that you are still here, reading these words today.

The fact that you are able to read this is already a reminder that God has given you another day, another opportunity, and another reason to live.

Don’t waste that opportunity chasing after earthly wealth.

Instead, let us pursue the true treasure—the treasure that cannot be taken away.
That treasure is our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Money can provide comfort, but it cannot give us true peace.

Wealth can make life easier, but it cannot save our souls.

Only Jesus can give us the life that truly matters.

Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them”.

Ecclesiastes 12:1

Sabi ni Solomon, “Remember your Creator in the days of your youth.” Ibig sabihin, habang bata pa tayo, dapat na nating kilalanin, sundin, at maging priority si Lord.

Si Solomon ay isang taong maraming naranasan sa buhay. Naranasan niya ang karunungan, kayamanan, kapangyarihan, kasiyahan, at tagumpay. But in the end he realized na kahit makuha natin ang lahat ng bagay na gusto natin sa mundo, kung wala si Lord, mananatiling kulang at walang tunay na kabuluhan ang buhay.

Kaya habang bata pa tayo, gamitin natin ang ating oras, gifts or talents para sa Kanya. Darating ang panahon na tayo ay tatanda at manghihina, pero huwag na nating hintayin ang pagtanda bago natin simulan ang pagsunod kay Lord.

Dahil ang tunay na kahulugan ng buhay ay hindi matatagpuan sa mundo, kundi kay Panginoon.

“So while you are still young, choose to know, follow, and serve the Lord.”

Madalas tayong malito sa direction ng buhay, career, love life, friendships, family, and future. Pero sa Verse na ito binibigyan tayo ng Lord ng malinaw na gabay kung paano makakakuha ng tamang direksyon at tamang landas sa buhay.

1. TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART

“Magtiwala ka sa Panginoon nang buong puso.”

Hindi sinabi “with half your heart” o “with a little trust”.

Sabi ni Lord, all your heart, buong puso, buong tiwala, buong pagsuko., it means magtiwala ka sa Lord kahit hindi mo pa nakikita ang dulo ng plano.

Magtiwala kahit hindi mo naiintindihan ang nangyayari.

Magtiwala kahit may pressure, takot, or thought.

Bakit?
Dahil ang puso natin ay madaling madala sa feelings at opinions ng tao.

Pero ang tiwala sa Diyos ay nagbibigay ng kapayapaan, katatagan, at direction.

For example:
Pag hindi mo kontrolado ang sitwasyon — Trust Him, kasi kapag buong puso kang nagtitiwala, hindi ka mabilis sumuko.

2. LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING

"At huwag kang manalig sa iyong sariling kaalaman.”

Sa generation natin ngayon ay puno na ng sariling opinion, sariling wisdom, at sariling diskarte.

Pero sabi ng Lord, lean not on your own understanding.

Hindi ibig sabihin na bawal ka nang mag-isip.
Ang ibig sabihin ni Lord
Huwag mong ilagay ang buong tiwala mo sa sarili mong pag-unawa, dahil limited lang tayo.

Kasi si Lord, nakakakita ng future, nakakaalam ng lahat at hindi nagkakamali

Samantalang tayo, madaling magkamali, naapektuhan ng emosyon, at limitado ang kaalaman.

3. IN ALL YOUR WAYS SUBMIT TO HIM

" kilalanin mo Siya sa lahat ng iyong mga. Ginagawa”

Hindi lang sa church.
Hindi lang pag Sunday.
Kundi sa lahat ng areas ng buhay mo —
school, bahay, social media, relationships, dreams, plans.

To “acknowledge God” means:

Tanungin Siya bago gumawa ng bagay.

Isama Siya sa plano.

Sundin ang Kanyang salita.

I-honor Siya sa lifestyle mo.

- Kaya tanungin mo sarili mo.

Lord, tama ba itong relationship na ‘to?

Lord, tama ba itong decision ko?

Lord, ito ba ang will mo?

Kapag kinikilala mo ang Diyos sa bawat step ng buhay mo, nagiging malinaw ang direction.

At PROMISE ni Lord

4. HE WILL MAKE YOUR PATHS STRAIGHT

“At itutuwid Niya ang iyong mga landas.”

- dadalhin ka niya sa landas na para talaga sa'yo at sure na will ni Lord.

In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.
1 Peter 1:6

Just like gold is tested through fire, our faith is also tested through trials to reveal whether our faith is genuine.

Observe how Apostle Peter said, “for a little while.” This means that our trials will not last forever; they have an end.

Often, when we go through difficult situations, we blame God for everything and think that God is punishing us, but sometimes, we don't realize that the trials and difficulties are designed and allowed to make our faith stronger.

So instead of asking, “Lord, please take this trial away from me,” why don't we pray, “Lord, stay with me and help me face whatever I am going through.”

For all of these things will come to an end. And in the end, we will receive the hope we have been waiting for—the glorious reign of our Lord Jesus Christ.

So stay strong and courageous, for God is always with you.

Have you ever been in a situation where you became so worried and overwhelmed that you got caught up in the moment? You looked at your circumstances and thought, “What am I going to do?”

The truth is, you are not alone.

In 2 Kings 6:15, we see a man who found himself in exactly that kind of situation. Imagine waking up one morning, looking outside, and seeing an entire army surrounding you. There was nowhere to escape. No way out.

He was afraid. He was caught up in what he could see, so he asked Elisha:

“Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?”

But Elisha answered:

“Do not be afraid.”

And honestly, how could he not be afraid?

They were surrounded by an army. The enemy was right there. From what his eyes could see, they were outnumbered and completely helpless.

Yet Elisha said:

“Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”

Then Elisha prayed:

“Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.”

And the Lord opened the servant’s eyes. He looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

The servant thought they were surrounded by the enemy.

But in reality, the enemy was surrounded by God's army.

Sometimes, we feel the same way.

We think, “God isn't speaking anymore.”
“God isn't working.”
“God isn't here with me.”
“Maybe God has abandoned me.”

But this story reminds us that just because you cannot see God working doesn't mean He has stopped working.

There are things happening in the spiritual realm that our physical eyes cannot see.

Sometimes, the most powerful things are the things we cannot see.

Elisha's servant couldn't see the horses and chariots of fire at first. They were there all along. He simply needed God to open his eyes.

And maybe that's what we need sometimes—not for God to immediately change our situation, but for Him to open our eyes so we can see that He has never left us.

You may not see how God is protecting you, but He is.

You may not see what God is doing behind the scenes, but He is working.

You may feel alone, but you have never truly walked alone.

Even when you sleep, when you are completely unaware of what is happening around you, God is still watching over you. Every morning you wake up is another reminder of His protection and His faithfulness.

So when fear tells you, “You are surrounded,” remember that God may be saying, “Open your eyes. Look again.”

Because what you see is not the whole story.

You have never walked alone. The Lord is with you, He will not leave you, and He will never forsake you.

Not everyone will be on your side while you are following God or not everyone you are sharing in one table understands your reason why you are still in God's Presence.

Pagdating sa pananampalataya at pagtitiwala natin sa ating Panginoon may pagkakataong hindi naiintindihan ng nasa paligid natin kung ano ba ang dahilan kung bakit tayo nagpapatuloy, sa ministry man o sa pagsamba sa ating Panginoon.

Bakit? Dahil mas paniniwalaan nila kung ano ang kanilang paniniwala na sila ang tama at tayo ang mali dahil mas panghahawakan nila ang talinong meron sila. At hindi sila makikinig sa anumang ating sasabihin dahil sa kanilang pag iisip na ang anuman ang kanilang napapakinggan at pinaniniwalaan ay tama. Talino ang meron sila pero wala silang pang unawa.

(Kawikaan 14:15)
15 Pinaniniwalaan ng mangmang ang lahat niyang mapakinggan,
ngunit sinisiyasat ng may unawa ang kanyang pupuntahan.

May pagkakataon din na ang lahat ng taong nakapaligid sa atin na katulad nating mananampalataya ay hindi natin katulad ng pananampalataya. Dahil ang Panginoon lamang ang nakakaalam kung gaano katatag ang pananampalataya ng isang mananampalataya. Katulad ng mga 12 Disciples, kasalo sila ng ating Panginoon sa hapag ngunit iba iba pa rin ang kanilang pananamapalataya, kaya nga laging pinupuna ng ating Panginoon ang kanilang pananamapalataya kahit na sila mismo ang nakakakita ng mga himala na ginagawa ng ating Panginoon.

Pero katulad ng labindalawang disipulo iisa lang ang dahilan kung bakit nasa presensya pa rin tayo ng ating Panginoon.

"We are Chosen to Follow by One and Only God."

Kung wala ka mang pwesto sa sa mesang kinauupuan mo may pwesto ka naman sa Kaharian ng Diyos.

(Luke 14:15)
15 Narinig ito ng isa sa mga kasalo niya roon, at sinabi sa kanya, “Pinagpala ang makakasalo sa hapag sa kaharian ng Diyos!”

Hindi man maintindihan ng iba ang iyong paniniwala nakikita naman ng Diyos ang iyong pananampalataya.

Long post ahead….

Is it wrong to desire to become a pastor?

Actually, there is nothing wrong with desiring to become a pastor. As Apostle Paul said, whoever aspires to be an overseer desires a noble task.

But it doesn’t mean anyone who desires to become a pastor can simply become one.

The Bible gives many serious qualifications for someone who desires to lead God's people.
A pastor should be:

* Trustworthy and above reproach
* Faithful to his wife
* Sober-minded and self-controlled
* Respectable
* Hospitable
* Able to teach
* Not given to drunkenness
* Not quarrelsome or argumentative
* Gentle and peaceable
* Not a lover of money
* Able to manage his own family well
* Have children who respect and obey him
* Not a recent convert
* Have a good reputation even among those outside the church

But why are there so many requirements?

Because being a pastor is not something you simply walk away from whenever you get tired or frustrated. You cannot neglect the people God has entrusted to you just because you are busy. You cannot treat the congregation harshly simply because you are having a bad day.

Being a pastor is a lifelong commitment to God and to the people He has entrusted to your care.

And this is not something to take lightly. What you teach matters because people's faith and understanding of God can be deeply affected by your words and actions.

That is why the Bible gives us a serious warning
James 3:1
“Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.”

The calling to become a pastor is a serious responsibility.
Yes, we can desire it.
But the more important question is:

“Has God truly called me to this?”

A desire to become a pastor should not simply come from wanting a position, recognition, or authority. It should come from a genuine desire to serve God, care for His people, teach His Word faithfully, and follow Jesus.

If God is truly calling you to become a pastor, remain faithful to Him. Let Him shape your character, prepare you, and confirm His calling in His time.

And when He entrusts His people to you, follow Jesus faithfully and lead them with humility, love, and truth.

Because being a pastor is not about being above everyone else.
It is about becoming a servant.

Joshua 7:7
At sinabi ni Josue, "Panginoong Yahweh, bakit pa ninyo kami pinatawid ng Ilog Jordan kung ipalilipol din lamang sa mga Amoreo? Mabuti pa'y nanatili na kami sa kabila ng Jordan!

Ito yung panahon kung saan ang mga Israelita ay natalo sa mga Ai isang Lungsod na napakaliit lang nman, kumpara sa mga lungsod na tinalo na ng mga Israelita sa pamumuno ni Josue. Kung ganon bakit nga ba natalo pa sila kung maliit lang nman pla ang lungsod ng Ai??

Yun ay dahil sa isang taong nagngangalang Acan na mula sa lipi ng Juda, nilabag niya ang utos ni Yahweh na huwag kukuha ng mga bagay na ipinawawasak Niya. at itinago nya ito sa kanyang tolda na walang nakakaalam ng kanyang ginawa, Kaya nagalit si Yahweh.

Madalas ganito ang tao, tulad ni Josue ang Panginoon madalas ang nasisisi sa mga bagay na nangyayari sa buhay natin, madalas nakokwestyon natin Sya, na bakit hinayang Nyang mangyari ang mga ganung bagay, na para bang pinabayaan o pinaparusahan tayo ng Diyos, ang totoo mahilig maghanap ng masisisi ang tao..

Never tayong pinabayaan ng Panginoon, kaya tayo napupunta sa mga ganoong sitwasyon yun ay dahil sa mga maling desisyon natin na nagagawa,

Pero alam mo ba kung ano ang maganda sa Panginoon?
Kung tayo sinisisi natin ang Panginoon, Sya hindi tayo sisisihin, hindi ka niya ikakahiya, sa halip tatawagin ka pa niya na lumapit sa Kanya para tulungan ka at para ipadama na mahal ka Niya..

Ang gusto lang nman ng Diyos ay i acknowledge natin na nagkasala tayo, hindi Nya sinabing sisihin mo ang sarili mo kundi pagsisihan ito , alisin ang dahilan ng ating pagkakasala at manatili sa pagsunod sa Kanya, hindi madali pero sa tulong ng Panginoon makakaya natin yun..

Tandaan natin na ang Diyos hindi tayo dadalhin sa isang sitwasyon para ipahamak, kundi para ituwid, totoong ang Diyos ay mapagmahal pero hindi ibig sabihin nun na itotolerate Nya tayo sa mga maling ginagawa natin.. Kaya dapat tayong maging maingat dahil lahat ng ginagawa natin maganda man o hindi ay nakikita ng Panginoon at lahat ng ito ay may consequences.
