Talk 2: The Gift of Lament

As conflicts continue to erupt in parts of the Middle East, many of us feel the weight of a broken world. Fear. Grief. Confusion. Helplessness.

Closer to home, we carry our own silent burdens—school pressures, financial strain, family tensions, unanswered prayers.

But our God is not afraid of our lament.
He welcomes our tears.
He listens to every cry.
His love remains steady even when our emotions are not.

This week, we learn that lament is not weakness.
It is worship.
It is trust.
It is running toward God instead of away from Him.

When we bring our pain to Him, He meets us with grace, peace, and healing.
