🌷 Happy Mother’s Day from Golden Valley Baptist Church 🌷

Today, we honor and celebrate all the wonderful mothers whom God has blessed our lives with. Mothers are a precious gift from the Lord. Through their love, prayers, sacrifices, care, and guidance, they reflect the compassion and faithfulness of God in the home.

To every mother:
Thank you for your endless love, your sleepless nights, your faithful prayers, and your Godly example. Your labor is not in vain in the Lord. You are a blessing to your family, to the church, and to the next generation.

As we celebrate this special day, may God strengthen you, encourage your heart, and richly bless your life. May He reward every sacrifice you have made with joy, peace, and grace.

📖 Proverbs 31:28 (KJV)
“Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.”

From all of us at Golden Valley Baptist Church,
Happy Mother’s Day!
May the Lord continue to bless every mother abundantly.

1. Prayer as your refuge and strength
📖 Psalm 46:1 (KJV)
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

👉 Fits your line: “your shield, your refuge, and your strength…”

2. You are not standing alone
📖 Isaiah 41:10 (KJV)
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee…”

3. Prayer as your defense in battles
📖 Ephesians 6:18 (KJV)
“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit…”

👉 Connects to spiritual warfare and unseen battles.

4. When life feels overwhelming
📖 2 Corinthians 4:8–9 (KJV)
“We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair…”

5. God uses struggles for purpose
📖 Romans 8:28 (KJV)
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God…”

6. God hears every prayer
📖 Jeremiah 33:3 (KJV)
“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things…”

7. Don’t stop praying
📖 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV)
“Pray without ceasing.”

8. God fights for you
📖 Exodus 14:14 (KJV)
“The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”

9. Stand firm and trust God
📖 1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV)
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord…”

"In a world full of silent battles, unseen struggles, and burdens no one else can carry, prayer becomes more than just words—it becomes your shield, your refuge, and your strength. You may not always understand why you’re facing certain trials, why the weight feels heavy, or why the fight seems endless. But every moment you choose to pray, you are not standing alone—you are standing with God.

Life is not always gentle. It tests your patience, your faith, and your endurance. There will be days when you feel surrounded, like arrows are flying from every direction, and all you can do is hold on. But even in those moments, prayer is your defense. It is the quiet power that strengthens your spirit, calms your heart, and reminds you that God is fighting battles you cannot see.

Sometimes, God allows the struggle not to break you, but to build you. Not to weaken you, but to teach you how to depend on Him. Every hardship has a purpose. Every delay has a reason. And every prayer you whisper is heard, even when the answer hasn’t arrived yet.
Don’t stop praying just because it feels hard. Don’t lose faith just because the battle is long. Remember, victories are often won in the unseen before they appear in reality. God is working behind the scenes, aligning everything according to His perfect will.
So stand firm. Keep praying. Keep trusting. Because the same God who hears your prayers is the same God who will carry you through every battle and lead you into victory.

Santiago 3:5–6 (KJV)

🤔

Minsan naiisip din natin ‘to, ‘no?
Nag-eeffort naman—may events, may outreach, may programs. Pero parang ang bagal ng growth. Nakaka-discourage minsan.
Pero what if, hindi lang sa numbers sinusukat ang tunay na growth?
“So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.”
— 1 Corinthians 3:7 (KJV)

“So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;
And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.”
— Mark 4:26–27 (KJV)
May bahagi tayo—maghasik, maglingkod, magmahal.
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…”
— Matthew 28:19 (KJV)
Every prayer.
Every invite.
Every quiet act of obedience.
May ginagawa ang Diyos, even kapag hindi natin agad nakikita.
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
— Galatians 6:9 (KJV)
Tahimik man o mabagal,
God is working. 🙏

Dear Christian."

“Focus on your devotion, not on your emotion.”

Feelings change. One day you feel close to God, the next day you feel distant. One moment you are inspired, the next you are discouraged. Emotions are real, but they are not always reliable.

Devotion is different.

Devotion is choosing to pray even when you don’t feel like it.
Devotion is reading God’s Word even when it feels ordinary.
Devotion is obeying God even when your emotions are pulling you in another direction.

If you follow only your emotions, your faith will rise and fall with your moods.
But if you build your life on devotion, your faith will stand firm.

Your feelings may say, “I don’t feel God.”
But devotion says, “I will trust Him anyway.”

Your emotions may say, “Give up.”
But devotion says, “Stay faithful.”

Christian maturity is not measured by how emotional you are in worship,
but by how consistent you are in obedience.

So dear Christian believer,
train your heart to follow Christ — not your changing emotions.
Let your commitment be stronger than your mood.
Let your devotion be deeper than your feelings.

Stay rooted. Stay faithful.
Stay devoted to our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ 💓
