“OBEDIENCE DOES NOT EXEMPT YOU FROM STORMS.”

The disciples were in the middle of the storm not because they were disobedient but because they obeyed Jesus. 🌊

In Mark 6:45-52, Jesus Himself told them to get into the boat. Yet even in obedience, they still faced strong winds and fearful waves.

Sometimes we think:
“Lord, bakit may storm pa rin kahit sumusunod naman ako?”

But obedience doesn’t guarantee a storm-free life. It guarantees that Jesus will meet you in the middle of it.

The storm is not always a sign that God left you.
Sometimes, it’s proof that you are exactly where God told you to be.

Keep obeying.
Keep trusting.
Because the same Jesus who sent you into the storm is the same Jesus who will walk on the waves to reach you. ✨

“Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” —Mark 6:50

In Mark 6:45-52, Jesus Himself told them to enter the boat and they obeyed. The disciples were not in rebellion. They were in obedience.

Yet they still encountered a storm. They encountered a storm because Jesus told them to go.

Because following Jesus does not mean a storm-free life.

Many people think:
“If God is with me, life should be easy.”

But sometimes storms are not proof that you are outside God’s will.

Sometimes storms are proof that you are inside God’s will.

Maybe you’re praying while fighting anxiety.
Maybe you’re obeying God while feeling exhausted. Maybe life feels heavy right now.

But remember this:
The storm may be around you, but Jesus is still above it.

Faith is not pretending the storm is small.
Faith is believing that God is greater than the storm.

Yesterday’s Church Service reminded us:
⚓ Don’t quit in the middle of the storm.
⚓ God sees you even from afar.
⚓ Jesus will come at the right time.
⚓ Peace begins when Jesus enters the boat.

“Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” — Mark 6:50

No matter how strong the waves are this week, keep your eyes on Jesus. The same God who calmed the sea can calm your heart too. 🌊

“Kahit gaano man tayo ka-busy,
simba pa rin tayo.”

Busy sa work.

God never skipped a day loving us.
Let’s not keep skipping His presence.

See you tomorrow in God’s house. 🙌🏾

Want to attend Sunday Services consistently?

Stop treating church like an option when God has already made it a priority.

We stay consistent with what we value.
People never forget concerts, gala, basketball, deadlines, or outings. But when it comes to God, suddenly “busy” tayo.

Consistency in church is not about perfect attendance. It’s about a heart that says:
“Lord, You deserve my time every week.”

Here are simple ways to stay consistent:

• Prepare on Saturday, not Sunday morning
• Sleep early
• Avoid making Sunday your “rest from God” day
• Join a church family that encourages you
• Remember why you started serving God
• Don’t wait for motivation — choose devotion

Because the truth is:
Your spiritual life becomes weak when church becomes optional.

One Sunday can encourage you.
One sermon can correct you.
One worship moment can heal you.
One encounter with God can change everything.

“Let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another…” — Hebrews 10:25

“How can I not be thankful to God?” 🙇🏻‍♂️

Nagising ako ngayong umaga.
May hangin pa akong nalalanghap.

Some people survived battles they never posted. Some tears were wiped away by prayers no one heard. At kahit ilang beses tayong nadapa, God still carried us through.

So how can I not be thankful to God?

Every heartbeat is grace.
Every new morning is mercy.

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Tonight’s Discipleship Training reminded us that salvation starts with a new birth — it’s the moment your old life ends and your new life in Christ begins.

‘Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.’ — John 3:3

And we also learned that prayer is not about perfect words, it’s about a real conversation with God.

You don’t need a fancy speech to talk to God.
You just need a sincere heart.

And another important truth:

A godly family works when every member understands their role. Parents lead with love and wisdom. Children walk in obedience and respect. And every home should put God at the center. 🏡✨

From the water, into a new life. 🌊✨

Old sins buried. New life awakened. Hearts surrendered. Lives transformed. 🙌

No one came out of that water the same.
Because when God touches a person, everything changes.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

“God is good all the time” is easy to say kapag okay ang buhay.

If God was good in your victories, He is still good in your battles.

“The seed isn’t the problem… it’s the soil.” 🌱

You can sit in church every Sunday, hear the same preaching, listen to the same worship, and still leave unchanged — not because God failed to speak, but because the condition of the heart determines the harvest.

Some hearts are too hard.
Some quit when life gets difficult.
Some are too distracted by worries, money, and the world.

But the good soil?
It receives the Word, lives the Word, and produces fruit. 🍇

Last Sunday wasn’t just another service.
It was a heart check. ❤️

Lord, make us good soil. 🙏🏾
