Again, we, the Muslim Student Guild Officers, lead by our supportive and dedicated President, Ameer 𝗙𝗔𝗥𝗛𝗔𝗠 𝗧. 𝗔𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗟, attended the 𝗢𝗮𝘁𝗵-𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 ceremony yesterday at the 𝗚𝘆𝗺𝗻𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺, 𝗪𝗣𝗨 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀, from 8:00 𝗮𝗺 until 12:00 𝗽𝗺, 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 07, 2026, together with the 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗭𝗼𝗼𝗺.

As we learned and reflected, leadership is not just about a title or position. It is a commitment that holds us accountable — first to ourselves, and then to our fellow students — in order to maintain peace and unity among Muslims and non-Muslims inside the campus.

Held at the 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗖 𝗔𝗙𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗥𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗗𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗣𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 (𝗖𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗗)

The program was led by our former President, Ameer 𝗞𝗘𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗧𝗛 𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗪 𝗔. 𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗔 for the turnover of leadership to our newly elected President, Ameer 𝗙𝗔𝗥𝗛𝗔𝗠 𝗧. 𝗔𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗟, together with the old and new officers.

During the program, our former President Kenneth discussed "𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗦 𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗗" based on our Constitution and By-Laws — including the objectives, goals, activities, accomplishments, and rules and regulations. This aimed to orient and educate our new officers, share authentic information about MS Guild, and foster brotherhood and sisterhood among us.

One of the highlights was the incredibly inspiring message from our guest speaker, Ameerah 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗔 𝗗𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗔 𝗤. 𝗝𝗔𝗣𝗦𝗢𝗡, a former:
𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 & 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲 (2023-2024)
𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 (2024-2025)
𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 (2025-2026)
graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Major in Marketing Management.

Even though she couldn't attend due to having the flu, she sent her speech which was read by our Vice President for the Female Section.

One of her key messages was:

TANDAAN ang sinasabi ng Allah Subhanahu wa Taala sa Maluwalhating Qur’an, sa ikatlong Ayah ng Surah at-Talaq,

"At sinuman ang magtiwala kay Allah - Siya ay sapat na para sa kanya."

Gawing ikhlas ang bawat pagkilos, at ang intention/niyyat ay maging dalisay at malinaw. Bakit natin ito ginagawa? Bakit tayo nandito at pinili ni Allah SWT na mamuno? Lagi nating itatak sa ating puso't-isipan: para ito sa ikalulugod ni Allah sa atin, para sa protection natin dito sa WPU Campus, at sa lugar na kung saan talamak ang free mixing at fitnah, lalo na sa mga kalalakihan at kababaihan.

Last but not the least, may Allah strengthen our Iman, Ikhlas, and accept our good deeds. Allahumma ameen.

𝙻𝚎𝚝'𝚜 𝚕𝚘𝚘𝚔 𝚋𝚊𝚌𝚔 𝚊𝚝 𝚢𝚎𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚍𝚊𝚢'𝚜 𝚐𝚊𝚗𝚊𝚙 on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 25, 2026, at the Covered Court near WPU Gymnasium during the Orientation Program for 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻, 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀, and 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗲𝘀!😍

First and foremost, all praise is due to Allah for making this program possible.

We also extend our gratitude to our Western Philippines University (WPU) Main Campus for inviting us and for allowing us to participate in this activity. And to our dedicated President 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝗔. 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮 and his co-officers for unwavering support, sincerity and teamwork.

Life is a constant cycle of ups and downs, but as Muslims, we are given a beautiful perspective that transforms every moment into a blessing.

𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 isn't just "waiting out" a storm; it’s how we behave while we wait. It’s trusting that Allah’s timing is better than our own. When things get tough, remember:
"𝙸𝚗𝚍𝚎𝚎𝚍 𝚒𝚗 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚢 𝚑𝚊𝚛𝚍𝚜𝚑𝚒𝚙 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚒𝚜 𝚊𝚗 𝚎𝚊𝚜𝚎." (𝚀𝚞𝚛𝚊𝚗 𝟿𝟺:𝟼)"

𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 is the key to abundance. When we focus on what we have rather than what we lack, Allah promises to give us more. It’s about finding the "Alhamdulillah" in the big wins and the small, quiet moments. Remember that Allah (SWT) said in the holy Qur-an:
"𝙸𝚏 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚐𝚛𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚏𝚞𝚕, 𝙸 𝚠𝚒𝚕𝚕 𝚜𝚞𝚛𝚎𝚕𝚢 𝚒𝚗𝚌𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚜𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞 [𝚒𝚗 𝚏𝚊𝚟𝚘𝚛]." (𝚀𝚞𝚛𝚊𝚗 𝟷𝟺:𝟽)

When you have Sabr in your trials and Shukr in your triumphs, you find a peace that the world cannot take away.

May Allah grant us a heart that is always thankful and a soul that is always patient. 🤲✨
