What would you like people to say about you?

We all want people to remember our good deeds and say nice things about us, but this was not the case for King Jehoram.

When he died, no one cared. Instead, Jehoram did evil in the eyes of the Lord. He disregarded his father's and grandfather's good examples of being committed to God and murdered his brothers and many of Israel's leaders.

May Jehoram's life reminds us that leaving a good legacy is never too late for us today. Choose to go God's way so that others will remember the good things we do and how great the God we serve is.

What is the indication that you are followers of Christ?

Followers of Christ walk on the ways of our Savior. They teach others about His Word and delight in His presence. The Scripture for today shows us an example of walking, teaching, and delighting in the Lord.

King Jehoshaphat removed more idols in the third year of his rule. Then he sent leaders throughout Judah to teach the Book of the Law of the Lord. In the same way, we can lead those under our influence to greater joy by sharing God’s counsel.
