Romans 12:1 tells us, ‘I urge you, therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God.’ This means God calls us to surrender our entire lives to Him—not just part of our time, talents, or resources, but everything: our thoughts, actions, and decisions.

Jonah’s story reminds us how hard this can be. He was called to go to Nineveh, but he ran away. Yet, God didn’t give up. In the belly of the great fish, Jonah had no choice but to reflect, repent, and realign his life with God’s purpose. Like Jonah, we may try to resist God’s plans, but His mercy is persistent, guiding us back when we stray.

Today we witnessed the power of these verses come to life. Hearts were opened, faith was declared, and new lives in Christ began. Baptism is more than a moment—it is a step of obedience, a turning away from the old life, and a joyful surrender to Jesus. All glory to God for every soul who chose to believe, repent, and follow Him. 0:)

It’s a blessing to teach children about God and His Word.
Even at a young age, they can learn who Jesus is and how much He loves them.
Planting the seed of faith early helps them grow with hearts that trust, obey, and love the Lord.
As teachers, we may not be their parents, but we are called to guide them with gentleness, patience, and prayer — trusting that God will give wisdom and strength along the way.
