Nakalulungkot at nakababahala ang naiulat na pagkawala ng tinatayang tatlong milyong piso mula sa Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish sa Rio Tuba, Bataraza, Palawan.

Buong pakikipagtulungan ang ibinibigay ng Bikaryato sa kasalukuyang imbestigasyong isinasagawa ng mga awtoridad upang matukoy ang katotohanan at malinawan ang mga pangyayari. Hinihikayat din namin ang sinumang may impormasyong makatutulong sa imbestigasyon na makipag-ugnayan sa mga kinauukulang awtoridad.

Hinihiling namin ang panalangin ng lahat upang manaig ang katotohanan at katarungan.

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT:
AVPP CLERGY ANNUAL RETREAT
August 3–7, 2026 (Monday–Friday)

Please be informed that I will be attending the AVPP Clergy Annual Retreat from August 3 to 7, 2026 (Monday to Friday).

Although I will be away for the retreat, I will make sure that our Daily Masses in the Parish Church will continue as scheduled.

However, during these days, I will not be able to accommodate requests for additional Masses, other Sacraments, and sacramentals. For such requests, you may kindly approach or seek the assistance of other priests.

Please be assured that the Parish Office will remain open from Tuesday to Sunday and will continue to assist and serve our parishioners.

Thank you for your kind understanding and prayers as we take this time for prayer, reflection, and spiritual renewal.

𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗨𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗢 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗔 𝗧𝗢 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧

Through Circular No. 2026-A1-019 released on Tuesday, Bishop Socrates Mesiona, MSP, announced that the priests of the Apostolic Vicariate of Puerto Princesa will hold their Annual Holy Retreat from August 3 to 7.

Bishop Mesiona reminded the faithful that the annual retreat is a canonical requirement for all priests. As such, priests may not be readily available to immediately attend to ordinary pastoral and spiritual concerns during the retreat period.

The Apostolic Vicar also called on the faithful to pray for the success of the retreat, that the clergy may grow in holiness, deepen their fidelity to the priestly ministry, and be renewed by God's grace.
