“Dumating si Jesus sa Ilog Jordan mula sa Galilea upang magpabautismo kay Juan. Ngunit tumututol si Juan at patuloy na sinabi, “Ako po ang dapat magpabautismo sa inyo! Bakit kayo nagpapabautismo sa akin?” Subalit sumagot si Jesus, “Hayaan mong ito ang mangyari ngayon, sapagkat ito ang nararapat nating gawin upang matupad ang kalooban ng Diyos.” Kaya't pumayag din si Juan. Nang siya'y mabautismuhan, umahon si Jesus sa tubig. Biglang nabuksan ang langit at nakita ni Jesus ang Espiritu ng Diyos na bumababang parang isang kalapati at dumapo sa kanya. At isang tinig mula sa langit ang nagsabi, “Ito ang minamahal kong Anak na lubos kong kinalulugdan!””

And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me. - Jesus the Messiah

A blessed Sunday 🙏

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

📌Do you thank God after an answered prayer?
📌Do we only praise God on blessings?or shall we thank Him also on problems and sufferings that mold our faith to become stronger?
Luke 17:11-19
One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. 16 He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.

17 Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? 18 Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” 19 Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”

➡️Napakasakit na minsan may natutulungan tayo hindi man lang marunong magpasalamat sa atin. Kahit nga sa kwento 10 ang pinagaling ni Hesu Kristo 1 lang ang bumalik.

➡️ Magpatuloy padin tayong magpasalamat sa Diyos. Sa ating hininga, buhay,pamilya at mabuting kalusugan.

Jesus answered, “You have said so.”

26 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”

27 Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28 This is my blood of the[a] covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. 29 I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”
