PUERTO PRINCESA PHILIPPINES STAKE SEMINARIES & INSTITUTES OF RELIGION GRADUATION

On May 9, 2025, we joyfully celebrated the graduation of our Institute and Seminary students. This special milestone focused on their stories of faith, diligence, and spiritual transformation which they gained by attending Seminary and Institute classes.

Hearing their inspiring messages touched the hearts of the members who attended and inspired them to strive better to seek the Savior and to put Him in the center of their lives.

As taught by Russell M. Nelson, “The more we learn about the gospel, the more we realize that our Heavenly Father truly loves us.”

Congratulations to all our graduates! We are proud of you! 🎓🤍

April 8, 2026 marked a significant milestone for generations of Filipino families through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

This event is more than a simple turnover of records- it is a work that touches lives in a deeply meaningful way.

Through this partnership, digitized civil registry records and the DRR system are helping preserve identities, reconnect families, and ensure that every person’s story is remembered. These “gifts of identity” not only improve services but also support a greater purpose- strengthening families and contributing to the eternal worth and salvation of souls.

A simple effort, yet with an impact that reaches beyond generations.

He is Risen!
Matthew 28:6

Today, April 5, 2026, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Puerto Princesa Stake joyfully commemorates Easter as a sacred time to remember the Atonement and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

This celebration centers on faith, hope, love and renewal of covenants, bringing members together in their respective wards in worship, reflection, and gratitude for the Savior’s atoning sacrifice.

Through special sacrament meeting, music, and messages, the stake together with the participation of each ward, emphasizes the message of love hope, peace and eternal life that Easter represents for individuals, families, and the community.

Members, invited Interested Persons (IPs) -- families, friends, loved ones, workmates, neighbors and others -- to celebrate with us this Easter Sunday.

In conclusion, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Puerto Princesa Stake’s celebration of Easter serves as a meaningful reminder of Jesus Christ’s resurrection and the hope it brings to all. It strengthens faith, unites members in love and devotion, and inspires everyone to live with greater compassion and purpose, reflecting the light and message of the Savior in their daily lives.

This celebration is further felt as members gather to share simple food brought by each family, fostering unity and gratitude, and as they minister to one another with love and care, strengthening bonds among each other.

Join Us in Celebrating the Greater Love of Jesus Each Day of Holy Week

You’re invited to remember the events of the last week of Jesus Christ’s mortal life, when He overcame sin and death so each of us can do the same. As you learn of Him, feel His love, and follow His example, you will find the peace, hope, and joy that comes from being His disciple.

The WSR Year-End Training, held on December 13–14 at the Puerto Princesa Stake Center, brought together leaders and members in a spirit of unity and purpose. The training focused on strengthening understanding of education resources, self-reliance initiatives, employment support, and missionary preparation.

Through inspired speakers, timely discussions, and thoughtful planning, participants gained greater clarity on programs such as PEF, Benson, BYU–Pathway, My Plan, Start Now, SWEP, QuickReg, and preparations for 2026. The sessions were led by dedicated speakers, including Brother Erwin Boiser (Area Education Support Services Manager), Elder Danilo Soleta (HSEF Director), Brother Nath Reyes (ACE Coordinator), Sister Tere Pangilinan (WSR Manager), Elder Ethan Gattud and Sister Shaina Gattud (BYU–Pathway), Elder John Edwards (WSR–SSM), Sister Theresa Duking (WSR–SSM), and Sister Elisa Duking (WSR–SSM), whose insights and guidance greatly contributed to the success of the training.

We express our sincere gratitude to the speakers, leaders, and participants whose commitment and collaboration contributed to a meaningful and successful training, supporting our shared goal of faith, self-reliance, and temporal preparedness.
