✝𝘽𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥 𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙜𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙤 𝙀𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙜𝙖 𝙊𝘼𝙍: 𝙎𝙝𝙚𝙥𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙣, 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙍𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙

Today, we remember and honor the life of Bishop Gregorio Espiga on his death anniversary.

A devoted missionary and the first bishop of Palawan, Bishop Espiga dedicated his life to serving the people of Puerto Princesa and the entire province. Through his leadership, faith, and compassion, he helped build not only churches and institutions, but also a strong and enduring Catholic community.

He is laid to rest within the compound of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral —a place that stands as a lasting symbol of his mission and legacy.

May we continue to be inspired by his humble service, deep faith, and love for the people, especially the poor and the forgotten.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May Bishop Gregorio Espiga rest in peace.

𝘋𝘪𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸? 𝗦𝘁. 𝗘𝘇𝗲𝗸𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗼 (𝟭𝟴𝟰𝟴–𝟭𝟵𝟬𝟲)was a Spanish Augustinian Recollect missionary who devoted his life to serving communities in the Philippines. He also co-founded Puerto Princesa!

𝟭𝟱𝟰𝙩𝙝 𝘼𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙋𝙪𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙤 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙖
