A NEW BEGINNING IN CHRIST โœ๏ธ

Today is a beautiful day of faith, obedience, and new beginnings. Congratulations to everyone who took part in the baptism today! May this special moment remind us that we are choosing to follow Christ, leaving our old life behind, and walking forward in newness of life. ๐Ÿค

Baptism is not the end of our journeyโ€”it is the beginning of a deeper walk with God. May we continue to grow in faith, stand firm in His Word, and live our lives as a testimony of His grace and love.

COVENANT (is a sacred and binding agreement established by God with His people.)
TEXT: Hebrews 8:10โ€“13; Hebrews 10:15โ€“18; Jeremiah 31:31โ€“34

1. OLD COVENANT
- Based on the Law of Moses.
- Required daily sacrifices for sins because the sacrifices could not completely remove sin.
- The Law revealed sin, and breaking it brought judgment and condemnation.
- The priests continually offered sacrifices, showing that forgiveness was not yet complete.

2. NEW COVENANT
- Established by Jesus Christ through His death and resurrection.
- God writes His law in the hearts and minds of His people instead of only on stone tablets (Hebrews 8:10).
- Requires a new heart and a new spirit, producing genuine inward transformation (Jeremiah 31:33).
- Brings complete and permanent forgiveness through faith in Jesus and God's grace, not by human works (Hebrews 10:17โ€“18).

"Their sins and iniquities will I remember no more."(Hebrews 10:17)

- God completely forgives those who trust in Christ.
- Their sins are no longer counted against them because Jesus paid the full price.

JESUS IN THE NEW COVENANT
- Jesus is our Great High Priest who intercedes for us.
- Jesus is the perfect and final Sacrifice, offered once for all.
- Through Him, salvation becomes a free gift of God's grace, received by faith not earned by works.

KEY TRUTH
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
(Romans 6:14)

Believers are no longer justified by keeping the Law but are saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
Grace does not encourage sin; it transforms the heart to live in obedience to God out of love.

The FBC Delegates from Malekkeg, Santa Marcela Apayao successfully joined the IBMA Region 2 Family Camp 2026 held at Northside Baptist Church, Tuguegarao City.

Truly, this camp became a time of spiritual growth, strengthened faith, joyful fellowship, and encouragement for every family through the theme: โ€œFaithful Families, Fearless Futures.โ€
