The Parish Youth Apostolate warmly invites everyone to join us as we lead the Vigil Rosary for the visit of Nuestra Señora de Regla on May 17, 2026, from 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM at the cathedral.

As young people of the Church, let us come together in prayer and devotion to honor our Blessed Mother and seek her loving intercession for our families, community, and youth. Maghiusa kita sa pag-ampo ug pagtuo isip usa ka batan-ong Simbahan nga nagahigugma kang Maria.

As we look back on this gathering, we are also moving toward something greater. One year of Pakighimamat is fast approaching. From simple beginnings to countless encounters with Him, this journey is reaching a meaningful milestone.

This month of May, a season of grace and renewal, we warmly invite you to our Pakighimamat—a sacred time of Holy Hour, Veneration, and Meditation, followed by a Youth Fellowship. Join us as we come together to pause, reflect, and rest in the loving presence of the Lord.

In His quiet presence, may our hearts be comforted, our faith strengthened, and our spirits renewed. Let us offer this month to God with open hearts, trusting in His endless love and mercy.

𝗣𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗧 | 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

As the Church enters the sacred season of Lent, the Parish Youth Apostolate of the Saint Michael the Archangel Cathedral Parish – Diocese of Prosperidad gathers once again for PAKIGHIMAMAT—an encounter of prayer, reflection, and renewal. In this season of conversion, the youth are invited to pause, listen, and open their hearts more deeply to God’s call.

This month’s gathering was made more meaningful through the presence of Sister Donna, who shared an inspiring message on Vocation, encouraging the youth to prayerfully discern the path God has prepared for them. Her witness reminded everyone that every life is a calling—whether to service, ministry, family life, or consecrated life—each rooted in love and faithfulness to God.

A solemn Holy Hour was also prayerfully led by Rev. Jose Marcial, guiding the youth into a deeper moment of silence, adoration, and reflection before the Lord during this Lenten season.

The gathering also became a moment of grace through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, where many were given the opportunity to seek forgiveness and spiritual renewal. The youth extend their heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Fr. Kimrey Pintor, Bishop Ruben C. Labajo, and Rev. Fr. Modesto 'Estong' Malandac, O. Carm. for generously offering their time in hearing confessions and guiding the faithful back to God’s mercy.

More than a gathering, PAKIGHIMAMAT continues to be a sacred space where faith is strengthened, hearts are renewed, and young people learn to walk together in hope. As the Lenten journey unfolds, the youth are reminded that through prayer, repentance, and openness to God’s call, every heart can be transformed by grace.

As we journey through the Lenten season, this gathering will be a sacred time of fellowship, meditation, and prayer — an opportunity to pause, reflect, and deepen our relationship with Christ.

As February unfolds, the Parish Youth Apostolate of Saint Michael the Archangel Cathedral Parish – Diocese of Prosperidad gathers once more for PAKIGHIMAMAT, carrying hearts that have been tested by ongoing storms and trials. Amid the presence of the Bagyo Basyang affecting many communities, the youth come together in faith—lifting prayers for safety, strength, and comfort, and entrusting to God the souls of those affected and lost.

This month reminds everyone that faith shines brightest in moments of uncertainty. In the midst of life’s storms, the youth are invited to draw closer to Christ, finding refuge in prayer, hope in worship, and courage through community as they learn to trust God more deeply.

More than a monthly gathering, PAKIGHIMAMAT remains a spiritual home—a sacred space where prayers are offered for those suffering, where grieving hearts are remembered, and where faith is renewed through unity and compassion. Here, the youth are reminded that God’s mercy and love remain steadfast, even in the strongest storms.

Under the loving guidance of Rev. Jose Marcial and with the unwavering support of the Parish Youth Council, the February 2026 gathering stands as a witness of perseverance—faith sustained, hope rekindled, and prayers rising for healing, peace, and eternal rest for departed souls.

As this journey continues, the youth move forward with trust and solidarity, holding on to God’s promise that after every storm comes healing, renewal, and new life. ✨
