Stewards on God's Vineyard
Warm smiles and emotional feelings was felt by many souls as they receive food packages, which consists 2 kilos of rice, 2 cans of sardines, 2 packs of chicken noodles, and sachets of coffee and Milo.
Although the presents were simple, its wide ripples reaches to the deepest part of every grateful heart. The wet and gloomy atmosphere of La Caridad Evacuation Center became a haven of joyous people, instead of running rats and buzzing flies, making the spent minutes a celebration of gift giving.
Global Youth Day is an activity conducted once a year by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, which is led by the youths. Its purpose is to share the word of God to homes where God seems an alien and not felt. The activity aims to help families feel the loving arms of God through giving. On March 21, 2026, the youths of Prosperidad District, conducted the program at Barangay La Caridad, in Purok 2, at the Evacuation Center. During the activity the youths sang a song titled "Adto the sa Langit" and a fire of hope flickers, as the thankful spirits of every soul fuels the melody and every notes of the song.
Moreover, the smoky flavors of Arozcaldo gives a wonderful experience to every cheerful spirits. Every spoonful of Arozcaldo
feeds each hungry stomach with a smooth texture, tasty flavor, and above all the warmth of happiness. In addition, the Adventist youths were very happy in imparting their service and care to the people. Although helping others might cost a lot, but costing a lot is much more better if its about bringing every person back to the feet of God.
Giving is not an act only done for a specific date, but rather a lifestyle to be wear by every people. A giver doesn't mind what how much will it cost, instead he thinks how he would ease the suffering every lost soul and lead them to the Lord. Through giving we reflect the character of Jesus Christ. When we give, they feel that someone cares for them, despite the illnesses of sin that governs their fragile souls.
We are stewards of God and our divine work is still not finish. We must work hard for the coming of our Master is not known and no one knows, even the heavenly creatures that surrounds Him. We must reach those unreachable and lost. We must nurture them to grow in spirit, so when our Master returns we are ready to face Him. Let us plant the word of God to every soul in the world and let us care for them; every hardwork will make the seed grow into a long vine with ripe fruits, ready for harvest.
Young minds plays a very crucial role in taking part of the divine mission. Joining the GYD activity was a simple act of stewardship, yet extends a far-reaching influence to families and communities. Youths were not just lending food packages, but also the love of God. They were not only spirits girded by the robe of gift giving, but also they were stewards of God's vineyard.
