The Eucharist is the SUPREME PROOF of the LOVE of JESUS. After this, there is nothing more than HEAVEN itself." ✨🙏

Today, our entire Catholic Church unites in a joyful and profound celebration—the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, traditionally known as Corpus Christi.

While we solemnly remember the institution of the Holy Eucharist during the quiet intensity of Holy Week on Holy Thursday, today is a day of pure thanksgiving, public adoration, and triumphant joy. We step forward to publicly proclaim a beautiful truth: Jesus did not leave us orphans. He remains with us, truly and fully present—Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity—in the Most Blessed Sacrament.

For us in the Ministry of Altar Servers, this feast holds a very sacred place in our hearts. Every time we serve at the altar, stand beside the priest, ring the bells, or hold the candles, we are given a front-row seat to the greatest miracle on earth. We witness heaven touching earth.
But the miracle doesn't end when the Mass concludes. The Eucharist is meant to transform us. When we receive Him, we are called to become what we consume—to be the hands, the feet, and the living symbols of Christ's love out in our local communities, in our schools, and in our homes.

🕊️ A Prayer for Today

Lord Jesus, as we celebrate the gift of Your Sacred Body and Precious Blood, renew our hearts. Forgive our distractions, deepen our reverence, and set our souls on fire with the same love that led You to the Cross and keeps You in the Tabernacle. May we always hunger for You above all else.

Let us join together in prayer, attend the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and if your parish is holding a Eucharistic Procession today, let us walk proudly with Christ through our streets, bringing His blessing to every corner of our lives.

A blessed, holy, and joyful Feast of Corpus Christi to all parishioners, families, and youth from the Ministry of Altar Servers of Our Lady of Fatima Sta. Cruz, New Cebu! 🌟🤍

Today, the entire parish community—most especially The Ministry of Altar Servers (KOA DE FATIMA)—joins together in a chorus of thanksgiving as we celebrate the gift of your life, Fr. Jonel Peroy

To say thank you feels too small for the immense impact you have had on us. Throughout your time here, you have been more than just a parish priest; you have been a true spiritual father, a patient mentor, and a constant anchor for the Altar Servers. You guided us not just in our duties at the altar, but in how to carry ourselves with dignity, humility, and faith in our everyday lives. Your unwavering support gave us the confidence to serve the Lord with all our hearts.

Knowing that this is your last birthday with us here at our parish makes this day deeply bittersweet. It is hard to imagine the sanctuary without your comforting presence, but our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for the years we were blessed to share with you.
As a token of our love, we wanted to give you something simple yet deeply memorable on your special day. More than the programs and the gifts, we offer you our prayers, our deepest respect, and the promise that the lessons you taught us will remain in this ministry for years to come.

Thank you for your "Yes" to the priesthood. Thank you for loving your flock so beautifully. As you prepare for the next chapters of your journey, we pray that God pours out His most abundant blessings upon you—good health, overflowing joy, and a strength that never fails.

✨ FROM TESTING KNOWLEDGE TO SHARING HEARTS: A SACRED MILESTONE FOR OUR NEW ALTAR SERVERS ✨

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart." — Jeremiah 1:5 🕯️🙏

A truly blessed and grace-filled day for our community here at Our Lady of Fatima Sta. Cruz Parish, New Cebu, Pres. Roxas, Cotabato! ⛪✨ Today, our candidate altar servers took a massive step forward in their journey of faith and ministry through a deep evaluation process: a comprehensive Written Examination followed immediately by a personal Interview. 📖🗣️❤️
These assessment phases are a vital cornerstone of their comprehensive formation and spiritual growth. While the examination allowed them to demonstrate their understanding of the Holy Liturgy, the interview phase opened a beautiful space for personal reflection and deep spiritual connection. 🕊️🛡️

We are incredibly grateful to our Parish Worship Head, Mommy Joy, who conducted the personal interviews. Mommy Joy sat down with each candidate to dive deeper into their thoughts from the Essay Portion of the exam. She lovingly reminded our young servers what it truly means to be a great altar server—emphasizing that service at the altar is ultimately about how they connect deeply with God in their everyday lives. 🎒✝️💬

To our candidate altar servers: We are incredibly proud of your courage, dedication, and desire to serve. As you move closer to being officially commissioned, may the Holy Spirit fill you with wisdom, humility, and an unquenchable fire for service! 💪🔥
Please join us in keeping these young men in your prayers as they continue to say "Yes" to God's beautiful call! 🌹🌍

🌱 NURTURING THE NEXT GENERATION OF CHURCH LEADERS: THE SACRED CALL TO THE ALTAR 🌱

Greetings of peace and joy from Our Lady of Fatima Sta. Cruz Parish, New Cebu! 👋⛪❤️
We are filled with immense joy and gratitude as our candidate altar servers took a major leap forward in their spiritual journey today during the Examination for Newly Commissioned Altar Servers here in President Roxas, Cotabato! 🏔️✨

Being an altar server goes far beyond wearing the vestments—it requires a deep understanding of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and a heart fully committed to Christ. That is why this examination serves as a core foundation for their formation and spiritual growth, ensuring they are fully equipped to assist in the liturgy with grace and devotion. 🕯️🕊️

This meaningful event was made possible through the dedication of our parish youth mentors:

🔹 Bro. Edwin Manzanillo, who facilitated the session with exceptional care and knowledge. 📖🧠

🔹 Bro. Gwill Jaymeel Yungot, our Spiritual Life Head, who continuously inspires and guides the spiritual well-being of our young servers. ⚓❤️

We ask our entire parish community to keep these young servants in your daily prayers. May our Patroness, Our Lady of Fatima, wrap them in her mantle of protection, and may they always find joy in serving at the table of the Lord! 🌹👑🌟

🏆 ONE ALTAR, ONE TEAM: Combining Faith, Formation, and Fellowship at PASCDC 2026! 🌊🏀
PART 2

After filling our spirits and sharpening our minds during the formation talk with Bro. Jhuva Garcia, it was time to put our faith into action on the court! Because at the Parish Altar Servers & Dames of the Holy Eucharist Convention '26 (PASCDC), we don’t just sit and listen to talks—we build brotherhood and sisterhood through healthy, high-energy competition!

Last May 2nd at the Our Lady of Fatima Sta. Cruz Parish in New Cebu, the energy reached an all-time high as the hardcourt and game boards came alive for our much-awaited Sports Fest.

🔥 The Ultimate Showdown: Roxas Side vs. Kidapawan Side

This wasn’t just any ordinary sports day; it was a friendly yet thrilling face-off between the Roxas Side Servers and the Kidapawan Side Servers! The rivalry was intense, but the sportsmanship and camaraderie were even stronger. Both sides brought their A-game, shouting cheers, waving banners, and leaving everything on the line for their respective teams.

🤝 Beyond the Trophies: Serving Together, Playing Together

While the games were highly competitive, the real victory was the unity formed between our communities. Sweating it out on the court reminded us that whether we are from the Roxas side or the Kidapawan side, we are all part of one team, serving under one altar, and answering the same call to “Put out into deep” (Luke 5:4)

Win or lose, the smiles, high-fives, and shared laughter proved that fellowship is just as sacred as our duties.

📸 Swipe left to see the intense highlights, the winning shots, and the brotherhood built through sports! Who do you think took home the bragging rights this year? Drop your team shoutouts in the comments below! 👇

🌊 CASTING OUR NETS DEEPER: A Look Back at PASCDC 2026 (Part 1) 🕊️

“Put out into deep.” — Luke 5:4

Last May 2, 2026, the sacred halls of Our Lady of Fatima Sta. Cruz Parish in New Cebu echoed with a shared renewal of faith, devotion, and youthful commitment as we gathered for the Parish Altar Servers & Dames of the Holy Eucharist Convention '26 (PASCDC)! It was a day designed to rekindle the fire of volunteerism and spiritual stewardship among our young church servants.

We commenced the first part of this blessed convention with a deeply moving and grounding formation talk led by none other than Bro. Jhuva Garcia.

✨ What is the Real Essence of Serving?

Bro. Jhuva didn't just give a lecture; he challenged everyone to look inward. In a world full of distractions, he brought our Altar Servers and Dames back to the absolute heart of their ministry. He posed the ultimate question: Why do we stand at the altar?

He reminded us that true service is not a performance, nor is it a mere routine or a social club. The real essence of serving is an act of radical humility and profound love. To serve is to be the invisible hands and feet of Christ, helping the community encounter the divine during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

🏺 Preserving the Sacred: A Refresher on Liturgical Vessels
Going beyond the spiritual foundations, Bro. Jhuva also led a vital practical session. He refreshed the minds of our participants on the names, meanings, and proper handling of the Liturgical Vessels used in the Church.

From the Chalice and Ciborium to the Paten and Cruets, our youth were reminded that every single object at the altar holds a deep, symbolic weight. This session sharpened their knowledge, ensuring that as they move forward, they handle these sacred tools with the utmost reverence, care, and holy fear.

⛵ Moving Forward into the Deep

As the first session concluded, our hearts were full, and our purpose was clear. Inspired by our theme from Luke 5:4, we are being called not to stay in the shallow shores of comfort, but to push out into the deep waters of faith and commitment.

Thank you, Bro. Jhuva Garcia, for pouring your wisdom into the next generation of church leaders! May our Altar Servers and Dames of the Holy Eucharist continue to guard the altar with pure hearts and unwavering devotion.

Stay tuned for the highlights of Part 2! Let us know your favorite takeaway from Bro. Jhuva's talk in the comments below! 👇
