FEAST | ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI

Today, October 4, we joyfully celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, a humble servant of God and a beloved patron of peace, simplicity, and care for creation.

St. Francis chose to live a life centered on Christ, embracing humility, poverty, compassion, and service. He saw the presence and goodness of God in all of creation and treated every living thing with reverence and love. His life reminds us that holiness is not found in having more, but in loving more deeply, serving more selflessly, and living more faithfully according to God's will.

St. Francis of Assisi, pray for us!

FEAST OF SAN LORENZO RUIZ

“A thousand lives, a thousand deaths, all for God.”

Today, we honor San Lorenzo Ruiz, the first Filipino saint, whose unwavering faith, courage, and devotion remained steadfast even in the face of persecution and death.

May his life remind us to stand firm in our faith, remain courageous in times of trials, and place our trust in God above all things.

San Lorenzo Ruiz, pray for us!
