You Got Jesus

Psalm 27:10 (NIV)
"Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me."

Have you ever felt like no one really understands you?

Maybe you've been hurt by the people closest to you. Your family. Your friends. Someone you trusted.

Sometimes, the deepest pain comes from the people we expected to love us the most. But here's the truth. People are imperfect. They will make mistakes. They will disappoint us, not because they always want to, but because they are human.

Instead of letting pain fill our hearts with bitterness, what if it's God's way of leading us to the One whose love never fails?

When people fall short, Jesus remains.

When people leave, Jesus stays.

When you feel like you have no one, remember this:

-You Got Jesus.

Identifying the Spiritual Growth Killers

Colossians 2:6-7
6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, 7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

We all want to grow.

We want to grow in our dreams, our careers, our relationships, and even in our faith.

But have you ever stopped and asked yourself...
"Am I really growing spiritually?"

Sometimes, it's not because God isn't working.

Sometimes, it's not because we don't have people encouraging us.

Sometimes, there are things we unknowingly allow into our lives that slowly keep us from becoming the person God is calling us to be.

This MUGC, let's pause for a Growth Check.

Together, let's discover what God's Word says about spiritual growth, examine our hearts, and learn how to remain rooted, built up, and strengthened in Christ.

Whether you've been following Jesus for years, you're just starting your journey, or you're simply curious to know more about Him, this message is for you.

We'd love to see you there.

The wait is over! Today, we celebrate 4 years of God’s faithfulness, grace, and goodness. Through every challenge and every victory, He has been making a way and doing a new thing in our lives.

“See, I am doing a new thing. Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” — Isaiah 43:19

This celebration is more than an anniversary—it’s a testimony of lives changed, faith strengthened, and a future filled with God’s promises.
