It is truly an honor to represent Queen Helena, known as the Reyna Elena of Santacruzan 2026.
------------------------
The Santacruzan is a religious-historical pageant that started in the mid-1800s. It is held in honor of Queen Helena of Constantinople and her son, Constantine the Great, who found the True Cross—the cross upon which Jesus was crucified.

Tradition holds that the 75-year-old queen discovered three crosses during an expedition to the site of the Crucifixion. To determine which was the true Cross, an ailing servant was instructed to lie upon each one; the cross that brought miraculous healing was recognized as the true Cross. The Cross is not merely a Christian symbol, but the core of our Christian identity, redeemed through Christ.

Within our local community at the Parish of Saint Anthony of Padua in Presentacion, Camarines Sur, the Santacruzan remains a venerable annual tradition. Several titles bestowed upon our Reynas reflect the attributes of Mary, the Mother of our Lord. Just as Queen Helena sought the Holy Cross, we are inspired to emulate Mary, the Queen of Flowers, whose virtues guide us closer to Christ.

Our Parish is very much thankful for the successful "Canvassing" of the SEARCH FOR REYNA ELENA 2026 held this May 24, 2026 on the Solemnity of Pentecost.

PARISH SUMMER YOUTH CAMP 2026

At the Roman Catholic Parish Church of St. Anthony of Padua, Sta. Maria, Presentacion from May 29-31, 2026.

Theme:
“GABOS KAAYON, JOVENES NA NAGKAKASARARO SA MISYON…SA PANGATAMAN NI SAN ANTONIO, GABOS MAY GIGIGUHON…”

Through this camp, we hope that our youth will discover a deeper love for God and learn to offer themselves in selfless service to the Church by actively participating in our various parish ministries. We intend to deepen our youth's personal relationship with God, equip them with moral values and foster a strong spirit of cooperation across our parish by offering the Sacraments, recollection sessions, structured prayer, and dynamic team-building activities.

No registration fee will be collected from the participants for this event. However, to ensure a comfortable and successful experience, we request the barangay delegations and other participating groups to prepare and bring their food and provisions for the 3-day camp.

GOD BLESS OUR GENEROUS DONORS

The dignity and beauty of our house of worship serve as a visual invitation to the truth, drawing souls toward the Church and reinforcing the belief that a beautiful sanctuary is a vital tool for mission.

While much has been accomplished, significant work remains. At present, our church is still without a ceiling, a permanent Altar Retablo, Stations of the Cross, and a Tontonan. While we are waiting for approval to construct our Parish Retablo, we are currently trying to procure wooden carved Stations of the Cross, sized 3ft x 2ft. For every sponsorship, you will be included in our mass intentions at every 8:00 AM Mass for the whole year.

The Parish of Saint Anthony of Padua, Presentacion, Camarines Sur is conducting excavation and clearing operations on the ground of our Parish Church patio. Initiated by the Parish Pastoral Council, this project aims to improve access for parishioners and prepare the grounds to serve as a venue for future parish activities.

In connection with this, we are looking for generous donors to help finish this project, which includes riprapping the sides, constructing concrete stairs, and paving the road from the main road up to our Parish Church.
