We are living in a season where there are things we simply cannot control.
A season filled with โWhy?โ
Why do calamities happen?
Why are there disasters, crimes, broken families, battles in the mind, and so much pain?
There are questions we may never find answers to.
But when we cannot control what is happening around us, we can still choose to pray.
When fear is louder, pray.
When the world feels uncertain, pray.
When your family is struggling, pray.
When your friends are silently fighting battles, pray.
When our nation is hurting, pray.
The Bible reminds us that โin the last days perilous times shall comeโ (2 Timothy 3:1). We can see how difficult and troubled these days can be. But the darkness around us is never a reason to stop trusting God.
Prayer is not our last resort. Prayer is our first response.
So let us pray for our homes.
Let us pray for our communities.
Let us pray for our leaders.
Let us pray for those who are hurting.
Let us pray for those who have lost hope.
Let us pray for our country.
And most of all, let us draw closer to God.
Because we may not know what tomorrow holds,
but we know Who holds tomorrow.
PRAY. TRUST. SURRENDER.
Our families need our prayers.
Our friends need our prayers.
Our nation needs our prayers.
And WE ALL NEED GOD. ๐ค๐๐ป
