After a long-awaited return, the Vicariate of Sacred Heart Ministry of Altar Servers proudly brought back the cherished tradition of Tuklas Talino/SINGKABIASA 2026, after being paused for several years due to various circumstances and challenges.

Guided by this year’s theme, “𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙀𝙪𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩: 𝙄𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙬 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙩. 𝙏𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙪𝙨.” this activity aimed not only to showcase the knowledge, skills, and talents of our Altar Servers, but also to encourage continuous learning that we may carry into our daily lives and, most especially, in our life of service to God.

May this renewed tradition continue to ignite our talents, strengthen our brotherhood, and inspire us to serve the Lord with greater dedication and joy.

𝖲𝖾𝗋𝗏𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝖺𝗍 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝗍𝖺𝖻𝗅𝖾 𝗈𝖿 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝖫𝗈𝗋𝖽 𝗐𝗂𝗍𝗁 𝗃𝗈𝗒𝖿𝗎𝗅 𝗁𝖾𝖺𝗋𝗍𝗌!

The Ministry of Altar Servers – Vicariate of Sacred Heart gathered at the Minor Basilica and Parish of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary for its Regular Monthly Meeting and Formation Session.
Before diving into the meeting, our Vicariate Spiritual Director, Rev. Fr. Omar Niño Defensor, led a heartfelt formation session on the rich history of the ministry. Reconnecting with these roots brought a deeper sense of purpose as everyone prepares both spiritually and administratively for the upcoming Tuklas Talino in celebration of Altar Servers’ Month.

Guided by the courage and faith of St. Tarsicius, may all our servers continue to guard and serve the Holy Eucharist with reverence and love.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | Yesterday, July 19, 2026, the Vicariate of the Sacred Heart Ministry of Altar Servers, together with the heads and representatives of the different parishes and shrine altar server ministries, held its monthly meeting at Christ the King Parish, Pulung Cacutud. Among the agenda discussed were the meaningful activities and formation programs for the upcoming Altar Servers' Month 2026.

Dakal pung salamat, Ministry of Altar Servers of Christ the King Parish, and your parish priest, Rev. Fr. Reynaldo Dela Cruz, for graciously hosting the meeting. May we continue to serve as one Mission and one Vicariate, united in faith, service, and brotherhood.

Yesterday, the Heads and representatives of different parishes and shrine under the Vicariate of the Sacred Heart Ministry of Altar Servers gathered for their monthly meeting for the month of June. Among the matters discussed were the post-analysis of the VMAS Sportsfest 2026, as well as the upcoming activities for Altar Servers Month.

We sincerely express our gratitude to the parish priest, ministry leaders, and altar servers of Holy Spirit Parish for their warm hospitality, support, and generosity in hosting this monthly meeting.

May our continued meetings strengthen our brotherhood, cooperation, and commitment to faithfully serving God and His Church.

As we commemorate the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence, we also celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Today reminds us of Christ’s boundless love, mercy, and compassion. May His Sacred Heart inspire us, as altar servers, to continue serving with humility, faith, and dedication.

May we always become reflections of His love through our ministry and daily lives.
