Do our words or actions drive people away?
Sometimes, we mean well. We have good intentions in mind, but have we asked ourselves if we unconsciously add to the hurt of others with what we say or do?
No matter how good our intentions are, if it is spoken out of remorse, or of pride, our poor ex*****on outweighs the best interests of our hearts.
My prayer for today is that, in all that we do, may we always choose to build up, rather than tear down. And it will only happen, if it will come from a place of love.
Correct not harshly but gently.
Remind with care and not with anger.
Speak the truth in love.
Do everything with love.
It surely will be difficult for us if we will rely on our own understanding, that is why it is so important to abide in love Himself, Jesus Christ, for we can only love others better if we love Him best.
Shalom.

If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.
1 Cor. 13:1-3
“Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”
John 13:35
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
1 John 4:7-9
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
1 John 4:16
