The Recollection Activity became a meaningful moment of reflection for the CYM–Polomolok. The activity, it focused on the piece of heart, guided by the inspiring talk of Kuya James Otero.

After the session, participants were given heart pieces and encouraged to approach one another to exchange them. Each heart carried sincere messages: “𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮” for 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞, “𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲” for 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, and “𝐈’𝐦 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮” to𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫.”

Through this simple yet powerful activity, the participants created unforgettable memories, rediscovered themselves, and embraced healing and reconciliation with each other.

As the Holy Week approaches, this experience serves as a beautiful preparation—reminding us to reflect, forgive, and remember the sacrifices of Jesus Christ, who saved us and rose again in glory.

Recollection Proper Underway at CYM Lenten Gathering 2026

POLOMOLOK, South Cotabato — Catholic youth from across the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish-Polomolok are actively participating in the “Recollection Proper” segment of the CYM Lenten Recollection, currently being held at Polomolok Parish.

Led by speaker Tereso James T. Otero, the session focuses on spiritual reflection, renewal, and deepening of faith as part of the Lenten observance. Participants are seen attentively listening and engaging in the talk, highlighting the event’s aim to guide young people toward meaningful introspection and stronger community bonds.

GENERAL SANTOS CITY — Around 9:00 a.m., members of the Catholic Youth Ministry arrived at Labu Beach in General Santos City for the opening of their Lenten recollection, beginning with the scheduled arrival and attendance period.

Participants registered upon arrival and gathered inside the venue, where organizers facilitated attendance and gave initial instructions. The early morning activity set an orderly and reflective tone as attendees prepared for the day’s spiritual programs and communal activities.
