A HEARTFELT THANK YOU, REV. LEMUEL MOGNILING

Our heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Lemuel R. Mogniling for gracing CECF with his presence and for faithfully feeding God’s flock through the preaching of His Word.

First Sunday of October, as we opened our Mission Month Celebration, we were reminded that the Church is called not only to gather, but to go, serve, and share the love of Christ with the nations.

Thank you, Pastor Lemuel, for allowing the Lord to use you as His vessel. Your message has encouraged us to look beyond ourselves and embrace the mission God has entrusted to His Church.

May the Word you shared continue to take root in our hearts and produce fruit in our lives, families, community, and mission.

We pray that the Lord will continue to strengthen you, your family, and your ministry. May He bless your service at CAMACOP, Mt. Apo Alliance Bible College, Nuro Alliance Evangelical Church, and wherever He sends you.

Thank you for coming, Pastor Lemuel. Thank you for serving. Thank you for sharing Christ with us.

We give all glory and thanksgiving to our Lord for the faithfulness, generosity, and ministry commitment of the CECF Mighty Men during our CECF Mission Festival.

Through our Community Engagement Program, Sharing God’s Love in Practical Ways, we were reminded that missions is not only about preaching with our words. It is also about showing Christ’s love through simple acts of kindness, generosity, and service.

Every Saturday morning, from 6:00 to 8:00 AM, we serve free snacks to people in our community. What may seem like a simple meal or a small act of kindness can become a meaningful expression of God’s love. It opens doors for fellowship, builds relationships, and reminds people that the church cares.

We thank the Lord for every man who gave his time, strength, resources, and willing heart. Your commitment is a testimony that men of God are not only called to lead their families, but also to serve their communities and become channels of God’s grace.

May the Lord continue to strengthen the CECF Mighty Men. May He bless every hand that serves, every resource that is shared, and every heart that reaches out. What we give may be small, but when placed in God’s hands, it can become a blessing to many.

FAITHFUL UNTIL HE COMES
What Shall We Do While We Serve and Wait?
2 Timothy 2:2 | Revelation 2:10

Waiting for Christ is not a call to sit still. It is a call to serve faithfully while we wait. Paul reminded Timothy to entrust what he had received to faithful people who could teach others. Jesus reminded the church in Smyrna, “Be faithful, even to the point of death.” While we wait, we are called to:

Pass on what God has entrusted to us. What God placed in our hands should not end with us.

Serve where God has placed us. We don't need a perfect opportunity. We can serve with what we already have.

Remain faithful when serving becomes difficult. Faithfulness is not tested when everything is easy. It is revealed when the journey becomes costly.

Keep the light burning. We may not know when Christ will come, but we know He will come.

Our assignment is not to control when the King will return. Our assignment is to remain faithful until He comes.

Sometimes nobody notices your service. Sometimes you become tired. Sometimes you wonder if your work is making a difference. Keep going.

“We are not responsible for how long we have to wait. We are responsible for how faithfully we serve while we wait.”

The goal is to finish while still holding the faith, still serving the King, and still faithful when Jesus comes. Keep the light burning. Be faithful until He comes. And when He returns, may He find us faithful till the end.

OCCUPY UNTIL HE COMES
Running in the Fast Lane of Good Purpose
Luke 19:13 | Matthew 25:14–16

God has not called us to simply wait for His return. He has called us to occupy, work, serve, and make a difference while we wait. The servant in the parable was entrusted with something valuable. The question was not how much he received, but what he did with what God placed in his hands.

LEVERAGE WHAT GOD HAS GIVEN YOU
What you have may seem small, but it becomes significant when surrendered to God. Your talent, time, resources, influence, education, skills, and opportunities are not merely for personal benefit. They are assignments from God. Don't keep asking, What do I still need? Ask, What can I do with what God has already given me?

ACT IMMEDIATELY
The servants who received the talents went and put them to work. Kingdom purpose requires movement. There are opportunities that will not wait forever. There are people who need encouragement today. There are ministries that need workers today. There are gifts that need to be developed today. Delayed obedience can become a missed opportunity.

NAVIGATE WITH KINGDOM PURPOSE
Running fast is not enough. You need to know where you are going. We can be busy and still be unproductive in God's kingdom. We can run many miles but be on the wrong road. Let every decision, opportunity, relationship, career, ministry, and resource be directed by one question: Does this help me fulfill God's purpose?

EXPAND GOD'S KINGDOM
The goal was not simply to preserve what was entrusted. The servants were expected to multiply it. God blesses us so that what He placed in our hands can become a blessing to others. Don't bury what God gave you. Build with it. Don't merely maintain the ministry. Multiply its impact. Don't just occupy space. Occupy with purpose.

“We are not called to sit in the waiting room until Jesus comes. We are called to run in the fast lane of good purpose until He comes.
--Jesus is coming.
--So keep running.
--Keep serving.
-- Keep multiplying.
--Keep building His Kingdom.

Occupy until He comes! Run your race. Use your gifts. Fulfill your purpose. Expand His Kingdom.

Tomorrow at 5:30 AM, let’s come together in God’s presence with grateful hearts and expectant spirits.

Whatever you’re carrying today—your worries, struggles, or victories—bring them to the Lord. There is always a reason to worship, a reason to pray, and a reason to trust Him.

‘’Let us go into the house of the Lord.” — Psalm 122:1

PURE OIL, BURNING BRIGHT: THE SANCTIFIED HEART

Sometimes, the brightest-looking lamp can still run out of oil.

Matthew 25:1–12 reminds us that it is not enough to have a lamp—we must have oil. The wise virgins were ready because they prepared what others could not see.

1. The Source of Light — Our light comes from Christ, not from our strength or abilities.
2. The Secret of Sanctification — A sanctified life is built in the secret place through prayer, surrender, and obedience.
3. The Certainty of the Cry — The Bridegroom is coming. The question is not if, but whether we are ready.

As 2 Peter 3:12 reminds us, we are to live looking forward to the coming Day of God.

Don’t just carry the lamp—carry the oil. Keep your heart sanctified and your light burning, because the Bridegroom is coming.

SUNDAY WORSHIP SMALL GROUP

Small groups give us a safe space to slow down, reflect on God’s Word, and listen to one another. Sometimes, what we learn from another person’s experience helps us see the message in a deeper and more personal way. As we share, listen, pray, and encourage one another, we do not just grow individually, we grow together in faith.

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” - Proverbs 27:17

When we grow together, someone else’s story can become part of our spiritual growth.
