1 John 2:16 (KJV) For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

True spiritual growth requires a daily choice: will we cling to the world, or will we abide in Christ? We cannot grow while carrying the weight of habitual sin or letting the "chokes" of life—riches, bitterness, and worry—suffocate God's presence in our lives.

​Our relationship with God is secure, but our fellowship depends on our walk. Today, let us lay aside every hindrance, practice sincere repentance, and choose to love the Father more than the world. Let’s stop being "spiritually thin" and start living fully connected to the Spirit-continue growing as a Christian.

More than anyone else’s presence, it is the presence of God that we long for as we enter this new season of our lives. More than success, more than power, more than anything else—God’s presence is what we will always want in our lives, for it surpasses all.

Just as David overcame Goliath through the presence of God in his life, as you step into a new year, may God’s presence go before you, walk beside you, and carry you through every day of the year.

All of us love to receive good news. These are the things our hearts long for because they change our situation for the better. In this season, we often practice giving gifts to others, but the true reality behind this celebration is GOD GIVING TO US.

Jesus came to earth to SAVE, to bring us TRUE PEACE, and to fill us with GREAT JOY.

Just as there was no room for Jesus in the inn, many hearts today are too full-of worries, plans, and worldly concerns- to make room for Him. Yet He still gently knocks. He who was born in a humble manger now desires to be born in your heart.
