Christians don’t obey Scripture or go to church because we think it saves us. We do it because we desire Christ and are so thankful for what He did for us. You can never have enough of hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Do not neglect meeting together. Make regular church attendance your priority. You know what God wants you to do, so do it. You will have more zeal for Christ and you will not be disappointed.

"The key To A Prosperous And Successful Life."

After Moses' death, the Lord gave Joshua His plan to conquer the Promised Land. God told Joshua to focus solely on the Law of Moses. The success of Joshua's conquest would come as a result of God's promise to him and his obedience to the word of God. It was to help him fill his thoughts with the Scripture and direct his actions. Countless people have been searching for the secrets of succeeding in this life. And thousands of books, articles, and seminars are available telling us how to succeed. Yet God outlined in His Word all we need to know to be successful in life and the life to come.
The key to success is spending time alone with Him, meditating on His Word, and carefully doing according to what we read. Don't just read through the Bible for the sake of reading it. Meditate on it, reflect on His words. Pray to understand what you're reading. We must apply what we read in our life and allow God's word to be the final authority. Ask God for guidance as you seek to understand, remember, and apply His truths. The Holy Spirit will help us to bring these verses to mind and guide us into all truth. When we consistently meditate on the Scripture and follow a life of obedience. We learn to understand God's ways, and our understanding of love for God grows, and we become more conformed to His image.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, and Joshua was an example of a godly man who believed God's Word and acted upon it. He knew the importance of hearing and meditating on the truth of His Word. And He also knew that neglecting it would be disastrous. Like Joshua, we should also be wise to heed God's Word, meditate, memorize, and keep it in our lips and hearts. And be careful to do everything written in it. When we put God first in everything we do, He will direct us and bless our efforts with success in whatever we do that is in line with His will.

If you can’t celebrate people that are ahead of you, if you can’t be happy for others when they get promoted, when their child gets a scholarship, when they get married, when they see a dream come to pass, then it’s going to limit how high God is going to take you. Don’t have a small-minded mentality. Your friend being promoted doesn’t mean God can’t promote you. Your family member moving into that nice house shouldn’t intimidate you; it should inspire you. God didn’t run out of favor. If He did it for them, He can do it for you.

Funny

Funny how simple it is for people to trash God, and then wonder why the world's going to hell.

Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says.

Funny how everyone wants to go to heaven, provided they do not have to believe, think, say, or do anything the Bible says.

Funny how someone can say "I believe in God," but still follow Satan who, by the way, also "believes" in God.

Funny how we are quick to judge, but not to be judged.

Funny how you can post a thousand 'jokes' through facebook and they spread like wildfire, but when you start posting messages about the Lord, people think twice about sharing.

Funny how the lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene pass freely through cyberspace, but the public discussion of God is suppressed in the school and workplace.

Funny how someone can be so fired up for Christ on Sunday, but be an invisible Christian the rest of the week.

Let God remove what He knows is keeping you from the true you. Unforgiveness is keeping you from shining. Insecurity, compromise, anger are blocking the best you from coming out. Work with God. Be willing to change. We don’t have to be perfect, but we should be growing. We should be better than we were five years ago. We should be kinder, more respectful, have a better attitude. We should be more confident, more secure. We should forgive quicker, overlook offenses easier. We should compromise less, resist the temptation more often. That means we’re letting the chisel chip away things that are hindering our growth. We’re seeing more of the "true you" coming out.
