SEPTEMBER 15 | ๐Ž๐”๐‘ ๐‹๐€๐ƒ๐˜ ๐Ž๐… ๐’๐Ž๐‘๐‘๐Ž๐–๐’

Today is the feast day of Our Lady of Sorrows. The Mother of God had her heart pierced, and she is a comfort to us in our afflictions. May we find comfort in the faithfulness of the Blessed Mother, who is the loving consoler of those touched by the many physical and moral sorrows which afflict humanity today.

Prayer to Our Lady of Sorrows

Our mother of sorrows, with strength from above you stood by the cross, sharing in the sufferings of Jesus, and with tender care, you bore him in your arms, mourning, and weeping.

We praise you for your faith, which accepted the life God planned for you. We praise you for your hope, which trusted that God would do great things in you. We praise you for your love in bearing with Jesus the sorrows of his passion.

Holy Mary, may we follow your example, and stand by all your children who need comfort and love.

Mother of God, stand by us in our trials and care for us in our many needs. Pray for us now and at the hour of our death. Amen

Santa Maria Magdalena aming Ina at Patrona, halimbawa ka ng taos pusong pagsisisi at pag sasa-ayos ng buhay. Nang mag all-in-one kaโ€™y naging mapagmahal at tapat na alagad ka ni Hesus. Salamat po sa iyong pagsaksi na si Hesus ay muling nabuhay at siyang Diyos na mapagpatawad at mapagmahal.

Ngayong ikaw ay nasa walang hanggang kaligayahan sa kanyang maluwalhating presensya, ipinakiki-usap ko po na inyong ipamagitan, Ako na isang mahina at makasalanan, upang dito at sa buhay sa kabila, si Hesus na mahal ang aking maging buhay at dahilan.

Saint Teresa of Calcutta, Jesus called you to bring the light of His love to those who live in darkness. By tender, loving care for the poorest and the neediest, you became the sign of Godโ€™s presence, His love and compassion in the midst of suffering and pain. Following your example, help us to recognize the face of Jesus in our suffering brothers and sisters and to serve Him with humility and joy.
