Following NYD 2025, the Chiro Youth Movement returned to St. Raphael the Archangel Parish of Pili with a mission: to bring children and youth closer to Christ through service, formation, and leadership. In line with this mission, the Chiro Youth Movement empowered the aspirant leaders of Chiro Bicol through the Aspirants’ Training Course 2026, held on January 30–31 and February 1, 2026 at St. Raphael the Archangel Parish of Pili and Colegio de San Rafael Arcangel, through the efforts of Chiro Pili.

This formation was made possible with the guidance and support of the Parish Priest of St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, Rev. Fr. Jaime Danilo L. Viola, as well as the leaders of Chiro Pilipinas, including National Leaders Ldr. Ernne John Dolor and Ldr. Elijah Robin Luna, the Chiro South Luzon Regional Leader, Ldr. Therese Melinda L. Castaneda, and the TEx with Leaders: Czandra Jochen Feliciano, Shanen Marie M. Ducabo, Miel Geronn Angelo M. Andres, Ma. Jewil Pia C. Buban, and Ldr. Lucia Bernadette S. Felix.

“𝓔𝓿𝓮𝓻𝔂 𝓪𝓬𝓽 𝓸𝓯 𝓼𝓾𝓹𝓹𝓸𝓻𝓽 𝓽𝓾𝓻𝓷𝓼 𝓲𝓷𝓽𝓸 𝓱𝓸𝓹𝓮 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓸𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓼.”
The St. Raphael the Archangel Parish (SRAP) Youth Ministry, together with the Kantabay Chorus and Ensemble, humbly conducted a Christmas caroling fundraising activity from December 23 to 30, 2025.

The proceeds will support the programs of both the SRAP Youth Ministry and the Kantabay Chorus and Ensemble. A portion was also set aside for our Reverse Caroling activity, originally planned for December 31, 2025, to benefit 50 families from the Saradit na Kristyanong Komunidad of our parish.

Due to limited time and funds, we were able to prepare 20 gift packs, which we joyfully distributed today, January 10, 2026, to families in New San Roque, Pili, Camarines Sur—the same community where NYD 2025 participants immersed and where the SRAPYM has conducted various relief activities.

Together with the Kantabay Chorus, the SRAP Youth Ministry shared a song, “We Wish You a Happy New Year,” spreading not only cheer but also the message of hope—that even in challenges, God is always with us. We also encouraged the families to stay active in church life, for themselves, their children, and the youth.

On behalf of the SRAP Youth Ministry and the Kantabay Chorus and Ensemble, we sincerely thank everyone who supported this initiative—allowing us to transform your support into hope for others.

THROWBACK!

The Carmelite Missionaries Youth Philippines celebrated their 10th anniversary through the Visita Virtudes Pilgrimage in honor of Our Lady of Virtues at St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, Pili from December 5–10, 2025.

December 5
Arrival and Opening Mass at SRAP, followed by the welcoming prayer.

December 6
Despite heavy rain from the typhoon, they did Visita Iglesia in Naga City in the morning and visited the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Chapel in Tagbong, Pili in the afternoon, where Bro. Gian Taylan gave catechesis about the Carmelite Missionaries Youth and the values of Our Lady of Virtues.

December 7
Catechized parishioners before the morning Masses, and in the evening, they held Taizé Prayer and Vigil for the Immaculate Conception, led by Bro. Taylan, with music from the Kantabay Chorus and SRAP Youth Ministry.

December 8
Visited their new foster family in Naga and toured the cathedral and other places.

December 9
The image of Our Lady of Virtues and Father Palau visited Colegio de San Rafael Arcangel, where Bro. Taylan conducted a by-class catechesis, and students offered prayers at the foot of Our Lady of Virtues.

December 10
Returned to Pili, visited their foster family during the National Youth Day, and concluded with farewell mass and closing prayer.

Thank you for visiting SRAP once again for another pilgrimage, and may Our Lady of Virtues continue to bless and guide the Carmelite Missionaries Youth Philippines.

ANG CHIRO AY NAGBALIK NA!

SUNDAY CHIRO CHRISTMAS GATHERING ay isinagawa ngayong huling araw ng Linggo sa taong 2025, Disyembre 28, 2025. Muli na namang iwinagayway ang banner ng Chiro sa Parokya ni San Rafael Arkangel sa isinagawang opening ceremony sa muling pagkabuhay ng CHIRO NI RAFFY mula noong pandemya.

Isinagawa ang Watchword talk na nagkuwento sa kahalagahan at kuwento ng Belen, nagkaroon din ng mga laro, at nabusog ang lahat sa mainit na goto mula sa SRAP Youth Ministry. Dumalo rin ang mga Chiro sa isinagawang banal na misa. Umuwi rin silang masaya dahil sa dalang simpleng regalo mula sa SRAP.

Sa mga nais maranasan ang kakaibang pamamaraan ng CHIRO, ay mangyaring pumunta lamang sa Parokya ni San Rafael Arkangel sa oras na 1:00 ng hapon tuwing Linggo.

Kaya, magtulungan tayong dalhin ang mga bata at mga kabataan sa simbahan upang mapalapit sila sa Panginoon. KAYA KITAKITS ULIT SA SUNOD NA SUNDAY, 1:00 PM sa simbahan.
