𝙃𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙮 𝙁𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝘿𝙖𝙮, 𝙎𝙩. 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙖!

Today, August 11, we joyfully celebrate the Feast of St. Philomena, Virgin, Martyr, and Wonder-worker.

This morning, the members of the Parish Youth Ministry joined the novena, followed by the procession at the parish patio and the Holy Mass. After the celebration, the PYM also prepared a simple breakfast for our fellow parishioners.

On behalf of the Parish Youth Ministry, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who shared their time, effort, prayers, and generous support throughout the Triduum Mass and Feast Day of St. Philomena. Your kindness and support helped make this celebration meaningful and memorable. Dios Mabalos po!

May St. Philomena continue to inspire our children and youth to grow in faith, remain courageous, and faithfully follow Christ.

August 10, 2026 | 3𝗿𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗱𝘂𝘂𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘁. 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗮!

Today, we come together for the 3rd and final day of our Novena in Honor of St. Philomena, bringing our Triduum Mass to its conclusion as we continue preparing our hearts for her upcoming Feast Day.

Let us offer our prayers, intentions, and thanksgiving through the intercession of St. Philomena. May her courage, steadfast faith, and love for Christ inspire us to remain faithful to God in all circumstances.

Continuing the beautiful moments featuring the Talk on the Life of St. Philomena, here are more glimpses from our catechesis with the children.

A heartfelt thank you once again to all the children, parents, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who helped make this activity meaningful and memorable. May St. Philomena continue to guide and inspire our children and youth to know, love, and follow Christ.

Here are the photos from the catechesis organized by the Parish Youth Ministry about the inspiring life of St. Philomena, the beloved patron saint of infants, babies, and youth.

As part of the program, the children listened to the story of St. Philomena and learned valuable lessons about faith, courage, and following Christ. The catechesis was followed by fun and interactive games, where everyone had the chance to enjoy and bond with one another. The children also received loot bags containing prayer posters and snacks.

On behalf of SRLP-YM and Fr. Jun Sotto, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported and made this activity possible, especially our generous sponsors of the Triduum Mass. We are also deeply thankful to all the children who participated with enthusiasm and to their parents for their support and presence.

May St. Philomena continue to guide and inspire our children and youth. May her example help us strengthen our faith, keep Christ in our hearts, and inspire us to imitate His love and goodness in our daily lives. 🤍

As we continue the Novena in Honor of St. Philomena, let us take another step closer to God through the loving intercession of our beloved young martyr.

On this second day, let us place before the Lord all our prayers, intentions, families, dreams, and struggles, trusting that He hears every prayer offered with a sincere and faithful heart. Through St. Philomena’s example of courage, purity, and steadfast faith, may we learn to remain faithful to Christ even in moments of difficulty.

Today, August 8 we begin the Novena in Honor of 𝙎𝙩. 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙖 and our preparation for her upcoming Feast Day. Let us come together in prayer as one parish community, asking for her powerful intercession and preparing our hearts to celebrate her life, faith, and witness.

With joyful hearts, we warmly invite all parishioners to join us for the Triduum Mass in honor of St. Philomena on August 8–10, 2026, as we prayerfully prepare for her Feast Day on August 11, 2026.

Let us gather as one parish family in prayer and thanksgiving, seeking the intercession of St. Philomena, our beloved Patroness of Youth, that she may inspire us to remain steadfast in faith, courageous in trials, and faithful to Christ.

August 8–10: Rosary, Novena, and Triduum Mass

August 9 (2:00 PM): Talk on the Life of St. Philomena

August 11 – Feast Day: Rosary, Novena, Procession at the Patio, and Solemn Feast Day Mass.

We especially encourage our youth, families, and all devotees of St. Philomena to take part in this grace-filled celebration as we honor the young virgin and martyr whose faith continues to inspire generations.
