A month of prayers, flowers, and devotion for our Blessed Mother Mary.

Maraming salamat sa lahat ng nakiisa, nag-alay, at nagpuri para sa ating matagumpay na pagdiriwang ng Flores de Mayo para sa mga kabataan ng Zone 15.

Nais magpasalamat ng mga youth volunteers sa mga zone at GKK officers na walang sawang sumuporta alang alang sa pagpapalawak ng pananampalaya ng mga bata. Nais ring naming pasalamatan ang lahat ng mga nagbigay ng tulong at suportang pinansiyal para sa matagumpay na culmination ng Flores de Mayo. Patuloy tayong magserbisyo sa ating simbahan, ata para sa kabataan!

Para sa mga kabataan, nawaโ€™y marami kayong natutunan sa isang buwang pag-aaral tungkol sa buhay ni Maria at ng ating pananampalataya sa Panginoong Hesukristo.

Ngayong araw, May 22, 2026, ang huling session ng Flores de Mayo sa Zone 15, GKK Sta. Maria 1-5. Sa huling pagkakataon, itinuro ng mga youth volunteers ang patungkol sa pananampalaya at paniniwala ng simbahang Katoliko sa mga batang walang sawang dumadalo sa Flores de Mayo mula sa unang araw, hanggang sa huli.

Nais magpasalamat ng mga Youth Volunteers sa mga zone at GKK officers na walang sawang sumuporta alang alang sa pagpapalawak ng pananampalaya ng mga bata. Naway patuloy tayong magserbisyo sa ating simbahan, ata para sa kabataan!

Iniimbitahan namin kayong dumalo sa ating Flores de Mayo Culmination ngayong May 30, 2026, pagkatapos ng ating prosesyon, upang bigyang parangal ang paglago ng mga kabataang Katoliko. See you there!

Pinangunahan ni Zone 15 President Shynne Salcedo, kasama sina Vice President Racel Mancera, Secretary Erich Salcedo, at Auditor Brando Torregosa, ang maayos na pagfa-facilitate ng Fiesta Basketball League. MARCH 29 | GOOD FRIDAY OF THE LORD'S PASSION

On this day, when 'Christ our passover was sacrificed,' the Church meditates on the passion of her Lord and Spouse, adores the cross, commemorates her origin from the side of Christ asleep on the cross, and intercedes for the salvation of the whole world. On this day, in accordance with ancient tradition, the Church does not celebrate the Eucharist: Holy Communion is distributed to the faithful during the Celebration of the Lord's Passion alone. Good Friday is a day of penance to be observed as of obligation in the whole Church, and indeed through abstinence and fasting. All celebration of the sacraments on this day is strictly prohibited, except for sacraments of Penance and Annointing of the Sick.

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the 40-day season of Lent in the Christian calendar, leading up to Easter Sunday. This day is observed by many Christians around the world through the symbolic act of receiving ashes on their foreheads.

The ashes used on Ash Wednesday are typically made by burning the palm branches from the previous year's Palm Sunday. The ashes are then blessed by a priest and applied to the foreheads of worshippers in the shape of a cross, accompanied by the words "Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return" (Genesis 3:19).

In a world that often seems filled with division, conflict, and despair, the observance of Ash Wednesday offers a message of hope and renewal, as believers seek to live out their faith in the midst of the challenges and opportunities of the world around them. It is a time to reflect on the ultimate meaning and purpose of human life, and to reaffirm one's commitment to living in harmony with God and with others.
