CONVICTION, PASSION, VISION 🔥
I had a meeting with our core leaders last Sunday and I reminded them about these 3 important things. As their pastor, I can feel kung minsan nawawala yung fire sa heart nila and even fire in serving the Lord.
I know it's normal na may days na feeling down ka and you're not really 100% sa ministry. Pero hindi ito dapat mag-stay ng matagal.
Since most of the core leaders sa Youth Ministry ay mga students, we can sense na it's more than just a feeling but there's a "spirit of oppression" going on since the classes have started.
I don't know if you have observed na iba na talaga ang panahon ngayon noh?
Mas dumami ang school activities, projects and even distractions ng mga young people ngayon. 😢
And to us na nasa province, some of them kailangang mag-travel ng at least 1 hour para makauwi at makapag-church.
Kaya karamihan, hindi na nakakapagsimba because even their Sundays, they have NSTPS and other projects to do. 😭
And as pastors, all we can do is to encourage our core team to be aware of the schemes of the enemy. Para they will know how to counteract it at sila mismo ay hindi matangay.
So if you're a leader and you're reading this, remember these 3 important things na dapat nasa iyo at dapat ingatan at protektahan mo lalo na sa panahon ngayon. Lalo na sa panahong may gustong umagaw nito sa iyo.
💪1. Conviction - a strong belief
💪2. Passion - something you're willing to die for
💪3. Vision - purpose that reveals God's glory
Remember, ang leader willing mag-sacrifice.
Lalo na sa time. Effort. Money. Resources. At iba pang kaya mong ibigay kay Lord.
Kung wala ka pang sina-sacrifice sa paglilingkod mo, hindi ka pa karapat-dapat maging leader. 🔥
But if you want to prove na hindi nagkamali si Lord sa pagpili sayo, then show him your conviction, be unstoppable in your passion and walk in the vision He has given you.
As Paul said... "Live a life worthy of the calling you have received." - Ephesians 4:1
