Tithing is a sacred act of faith and gratitude that demonstrates a believer’s trust in God’s provision. In Scripture, giving a tenth of one’s income or produce symbolizes returning to God what already belongs to Him. It reminds Christians that all blessings—material and spiritual—come from His hand. Through tithing, believers participate in God’s work by supporting the church, helping the needy, and sustaining ministries that spread the Gospel.

Malachi 3:10 encourages believers to “bring all the tithes into the storehouse,” promising that God will “open the windows of heaven” in response. This act of obedience deepens spiritual maturity, teaching generosity and stewardship. Tithing also unites the community in shared purpose, ensuring that worship, outreach, and compassion continue to flourish.

Tithing is not about loss—it’s about love. It transforms giving into worship, gratitude into action, and faith into tangible expression. When believers tithe, they affirm that God is their provider, not possessions.

The purpose of Acts 2:38 is to provide a clear, God‑given response to the question of salvation. On the Day of Pentecost, when people were convicted by Peter’s preaching, they asked, “What shall we do?” This verse answers directly:

• Repentance — turning away from sin and surrendering to God.
• Baptism in Jesus’ name — receiving forgiveness and publicly identifying with Christ’s death and resurrection.
• Receiving the Holy Spirit — being empowered to live a new, holy life with God’s presence dwelling within.

Its purpose is to show that salvation is not just belief in words but a lived transformation: forgiveness through Christ, obedience through baptism, and empowerment through the Spirit. It bridges conviction into action, guiding believers into covenant relationship and new life.

The Bible teaches that God’s people should dress and live in a way that glorifies Him:
“In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety...”
— 1 Timothy 2:9

Modesty shows a spirit of purity, self-respect, and separation from worldly pride. It draws attention to godly character instead of outward sensuality.
“Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning... But let it be the hidden man of the heart...”
— 1 Peter 3:3–4

Apostolic believers also value long hair on women as a biblical symbol of honor and submission to God’s order:
“But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her...”
— 1 Corinthians 11:15

Modesty is beautiful because holiness is beautiful. A modest woman reflects dignity, grace, and a life dedicated to God.
“Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.”
— Psalms 29:2
