St. Anthony of Padua Council - 18859 of the Knights of Columbus warmly greets the Supreme Pontiff on the occasion of his 1st year anniversary on his ascension to the seat of Peter as his successor, we would continuously pray for the Pope and eternally pledge our loyalty and obedience to him as the successor of Peter the Apostle. May the Lord bless and guide you always Pope Leo! Vivat Iesus!

The Knights of Columbus congratulates Pope Leo XIV on the first anniversary of his election as the successor of St. Peter. During the first year of his pontificate, Pope Leo has called the Church to deeper unity in Christ and greater concern for the poor, the unborn and all those suffering from war and displacement.

In a statement shortly after Pope Leo’s election on May 8, 2025, Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly affirmed the Order’s solidarity with the Holy Father: “I pledge our loyalty to Pope Leo XIV as well as our prayers today and every day of his pontificate. In the years ahead, we will proudly stand with him as we seek together to build up the Kingdom of God.”

The Knights of Columbus should be the "heralds of hope" in the midst of the global "crisis of men", in order to be heralds of hope as Knights we should be united in prayer and steadfast faith.

Papal nuncio Archbishop Charles Brown urges the Knights of Columbus to confront a global “crisis of men” through faith, prayer and fatherhood, calling the organization to serve as “heralds of hope.”

Ito ay paanyaya sa atin na suriin ang ating mga puso—nawa'y manatili tayong tapat sa ating pananalig at hindi masilaw sa mga materyal na bagay ng mundo.
