We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Philippine General Conference, under the leadership of Bishop Tereso Lanzon Jr., for extending compassion and support to our brethren in EMAC who were affected by the devastating flood last February.

This generosity and concern remind us that the Church is truly one body. When one part suffers, the whole body responds with love. Thanks for standing with our brothers and sisters during this difficult time and for demonstrating Christ’s love in such a tangible way.

Urgent Appeal for Prayer and Relief: Caraga Region Flood Victims

Dear Beloved Free Methodist Family,

In response to the severe, ongoing flooding affecting our brothers and sisters in Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Sur, Davao de Oro, and the surrounding Caraga Region, we are calling upon our community to unite in prayer and concrete action.

In a spirit of compassion and solidarity, the PGC—in coordination with the Social Services Department—is launching a Special Relief Initiative. This is our collective opportunity to bring tangible comfort and support to those who have lost their homes and livelihoods.

We earnestly request that every conference, district, and local church participate in the following ways:

1. Dedicated Prayer
- Please intercede for the safety of displaced families, the peace and provision of those in distress, and the wisdom of our rescue and relief teams.

2. Special Offering
- We humbly ask all local churches to conduct a special offering (cash or goods) during the worship services this coming Sunday, February 22, 2026.

3. Remittance and Collection
- Please forward all collected funds and relief goods to the PGC Office between Monday, February 23, and Wednesday, February 25, 2026, to ensure timely distribution.

4. Distribution
- These contributions will serve as an additional support fund for the affected conferences to provide direct aid to our brethren in need.

Let us demonstrate Christ’s love through our unity and generosity. When we give together, we offer more than just aid; we provide hope that heals and faith that strengthens.
