𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐒𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐈𝐈: “𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐃”

The second plenary session of SARIG, facilitated by Ate Yasmine Modesto, became a beautiful and meaningful journey of discovering one’s calling to serve Christ through ministry.

The youth were invited to listen to where their hearts long to serve—whether in the choir ministry, lector ministry, or as sacristans. Through guidance, sharing, and hands-on workshops, they were given the opportunity not only to learn the responsibilities of each ministry, but also to understand the beauty of serving God with their time, talents, and hearts.

A heartfelt thank you to Ate Argelyn Mejia and Kuya Miko Ma****lo for guiding and practicing with the aspiring choir members, to Kuya LG Templado for patiently teaching the aspiring sacristans, and to Kuya Jommel Modesto for mentoring the aspiring lectors. Your time, effort, and willingness to share your ministry inspired the youth to become more open and courageous in answering God’s call.

Indeed, the session became more than just learning—it became a reminder that every young person has a place in the Church and a calling waiting to be answered.

🌸🙏 𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐆: 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨

As part of the SARIG journey, the youth gathered in prayer and devotion to offer flowers and intentions to our dearest Mother Mary. Each flower symbolized love, gratitude, faith, and trust—reminding everyone of Mary’s gentle presence through every storm and season of life.

Through prayers and offerings, the youth were once again led closer to Christ through the guidance and intercession of Mama Mary.

🌅✨ 𝐀𝐔𝐑𝐎𝐑𝐀: 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭

The second day of SARIG began with a moment of prayer and reflection as the youth welcomed the morning with peaceful hearts and renewed spirits. It became a reminder that after every storm and darkness, God continues to lead His people toward light, hope, and new beginnings.

The morning was then followed by an energetic Shibashi session led by the Canossa Youth, filling the place with joy, laughter, movements, and lively animations that refreshed and awakened everyone for the day ahead.

🕯️🌊 𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐙É: 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐦 ✨

In the middle of silence, worship, and prayer, the youth were given a space to pause, reflect, and speak honestly with God. Carrying their “boats of burdens,” they slowly offered their worries, pain, fears, and silent battles to the One who calms every storm. 🤍

Tears were shed, hearts were opened, and souls were lifted as each young person encountered God in a deeply personal way. It became a reminder that even in the darkest and noisiest storms of life, Christ remains present—listening, comforting, and carrying every burden with us. ⚓🕯️

🌪️ 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 & 𝐖𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 🌊✨

Filled with laughter, cheers, and excitement, the four teams actively participated in every challenge during the Storm of Games. More than just fun and competition, the activities became a way to build camaraderie, teamwork, trust, and stronger bonds among the youth.

Before the games, the youth also shared their talents and confidence through Waves of Talents, where different performances brought joy, energy, and entertainment to everyone present.

Indeed, SARIG became a beautiful reminder that amidst every storm and wave, unity and friendship continue to grow. ⚓

A meaningful plenary session with Sr. Clarice Avenido Cabansay, FdCC. Through a talk and interactive activities, the youth were guided to better understand how God speaks in their daily lives and how to discern His voice amidst the noise, distractions, and storms of life.
