-to all the amazing mothers and mother figures who continue to love, serve, sacrifice, and care so deeply for the people around them.

Nay, Mama, Mamita, Mami, mamshie kag sa tanan nga amazing momsssss out there,
Thank you for the quiet things you do that often go unnoticed ; the prayers, the late nights, the encouragement, the patience, the walang katapusan nga sermon and the constant love that makes home feel safe and warm. Your influence reaches farther than you know, and your example helps shape lives in meaningful and lasting ways.

As President Russell M. Nelson said, ‘No love in mortality comes closer to approximating the pure love of Jesus Christ than the selfless love a devoted mother has for her child.’ Today, we celebrate that kind of love and the strength, faith, and compassion behind it.”

At least once, we are all guilty of feeling bored at church, or too sleepy to say our nightly prayer…
And maybe it’s not because we don’t care.
Sometimes we’re simply tired, distracted, or carrying a lot.

But moments like these quietly reveal something:
a relationship can’t grow on leftover time alone.

The Lord does not ask for perfection, but He does invite our presence. Even a small, sincere effort to turn our hearts toward Him matters.

As we choose, again and again, to give Him a place in our day, we may find that our desire for Him begins to deepen, and what once felt like duty becomes something we truly long for.

Ask this: “What’s one small way I can choose God today, even in a busy life?

Passi 1st ward summer activity was filled with fun games, shared laughs, and meaningful connections.
It’s always nice to take a break, enjoy the season, and spend time with such a wonderful group of people.
