“Remember you are dust, and to dust you shall return”

Today is Ash Wednesday and the start of lent. It is not a holy day of obligation but still a holy day, all are encouraged to hear mass and celebrate the Eucharist to help strengthen and purify our long journey for lent.

Lent is a 40 day season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. It begins on Ash Wednesday and ends at sundown on Holy Thursday. It's a time of preparation to celebrate the Lord's Resurrection at Easter.

NOVEMBER 1 is ALL SAINTS DAY.

Today we celebrate the life and death of our dear Holy Friends, our SAINTS.
As we celebrate this day let us pray that we become like them.
