Today, ๐’๐ญ. ๐–๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐š๐ฆ ๐๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก joins the Universal Church in joyfully celebrating the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The birth of Mary is a beautiful reminder that Godโ€™s plan of salvation often begins in ways that appear simple and ordinary. From her humble beginnings, God prepared the one who would freely and faithfully say ๐˜๐„๐’ to His will and become the Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Maryโ€™s life teaches us that holiness begins with a heart that is open to God. Her humility, obedience, and unwavering trust remind us that we do not always need to understand everything God asks of us before we respond with faith. Like Mary, we are called to surrender our plans, listen to Godโ€™s voice, and allow Him to work through our lives.

As we celebrate her birth, may we also reflect on our own calling to become instruments of Godโ€™s love in our families, our parish community, and in the people we encounter each day.

May the Blessed Virgin Mary continue to guide ๐’๐ญ. ๐–๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐š๐ฆ ๐๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก closer to her Son and teach us to live with the same faith, humility, and courage that marked her life.

Our parish joins the Archdiocese of Jaro in welcoming the Pilgrim Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe as she visits the only parish church in the archdiocese dedicated to her honor in Polot-an, Pototan, Iloilo, from August 25 to 27, 2026.

Let us share this invitation with our parish community and take this blessed opportunity to pray and venerate the sacred image as we journey toward the Quincentenary Jubilee of the Apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Today, the St. William Parish Community joins the Church in celebrating the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. With hearts full of joy and gratitude, we honor Mary, who was taken body and soul into the glory of heaven. Her Assumption is a beautiful sign of the hope that awaits us and a reminder that a life faithfully offered to God leads to the fullness of life with Him.

Maryโ€™s glory began with a humble heart that trusted God completely. She did not know where every step would lead, but she remained faithful to Godโ€™s will. Her Assumption invites us to look beyond our present struggles and remember the promise of heaven. May we, like Mary, learn to trust God even when the path is uncertain, to remain faithful in moments of difficulty, and to let our lives continually lead others toward Christ.

PRAYER
Mary, our Mother and Queen, accompany us in our journey of faith. Teach us to trust God as you did, to remain faithful in every circumstance, and to keep our hearts fixed on Christ. Pray for our parish community, our families, and all those who seek your intercession. Lead us always closer to your Son and, one day, to the joy of eternal life. Amen.

โ€œMary is assumed into heaven, body and soul, and becomes a sign of certain hope and comfort for the pilgrim People of God.โ€

The St. William Parish Community joyfully invites all the faithful to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

As one parish family, let us gather in prayer and thanksgiving as we honor Mary, our Mother and model of faith. May her life of humility, obedience, and complete trust in God inspire us to follow her Son, Jesus Christ, more faithfully.
