Happy Birthday, Blessed Virgin Mary!

-

As we celebrate the Birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary today, we will have the Solemn Mass for the Feast of the Nativity of Our Lady at 6:00PM in our Parish Church.

In this mass, we encourage our parishioners to offer cake for our Blessed Mother, and this will be shared with the everyone right after the Mass for our annual Cake Festival.

As we bid farewell to August, we remember the beautiful Grand Procession honoring the Holy Family, made even more meaningful through the faithful service of our altar servers.

Life as Altar Servers are like procession, despite of the rain and troubles that may come, we stay and continue. Because we know all things lead to Christ who leads us.

May this moment of prayer and devotion remain in our hearts.

A beautiful return to the Mother Church, celebrating the bond that connects us as one community of faith. For the first years of the community of the Holy Family, St. Francis of Assisi Parish was the one who nurtured and established the faith in our community.

May the Holy Family continue to guide our parish, our families, and all who serve the Church.

TRANSFER OF THE PASCHAL CANDLE TO THE BAPTISTRY

According to the Roman Missal, the Paschal Candle remains in the Sanctuary until the conclusion of the final Mass of Pentecost Sunday. In our Parish after the final Mass for Pentecost, the Paschal Candle is carried out in a procession from the Sanctuary to the Baptistry. The Paschal Candle remains in it's place of honor and is used during baptisms. This is a reminder of Christ's Victory over sin and death.

VENI SANCTE SPIRITUS!
