MARY, QUEEN OF PEACE, PRAY FOR US!

Heavenly Father, we, Your children, humbly call on You to bring peace to our world. Nations lift their arms to battle, but we humbly kneel to ask Your protection and peace. In this time of difficulty, You are our surest hope. Many children dream of a bright future, yet we have failed to teach and guide them rightly. You entrusted us with this world to care for, but we have harmed it through war and hatred. You showed us how to love, yet we make enemies of other nations. By the sacrifice of Your Son on the cross You brought reconciliation with You. Hear our prayer for peace, especially in the Middle East. Our sacrifices may be small, but with faith in Your all things are possible. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

On this day in 2009, the Abang Lingkod ni Maria was established at the behest of the Most Reverend Francisco C. San Diego D.D., First Bishop of Pasig, with the oath taken by its members before Rev. Fr. Roy M. Rosales STL (then Rector and Parish Priest of the Cathedral and former Diocesan Chancellor) to perpetually oversee the general orderliness and safekeeping of the canonically crowned image of our beloved mother and patroness, La Inmaculada Concepcion de Pasig.

The “Camareras Mayores, Menores, y Infantiles” with Fr. Rosales as their Spiritual Director, established the norms of devotional propagation in honor of the Patrona Coronada, from which sprang forth, along with charitable activities, customs such as the monthly “Pahalik,” the “Dalaw-Patrona,” and the annual “Solemneng Pagbibihis.”

Today, ALM renews its vow, all for the greater glory of God, through the Blessed Virgin Mary.

HAIL, FULL OF GRACE!

O Blessed Mother, our queen and advocate, who from the first instant of thy conception didst crush the head of the enemy, receive the prayers which, united with thee in our single heart, we implore thee to present at the throne of God, that we may never fall into the snares which are laid out for us, and may all arrive at the port of salvation; and, in so many dangers, may the Church and Christian society sing once again the hymn of deliverance and of victory and of peace. Amen.

Venerable treasure of the whole universe, lamp that is never extinguished, crown of virginity, support of the true faith, indestructible temple, dwelling of Him whom no place can contain, O Mother and Virgin! Through you, all the holy Gospels call blessed the One who comes in the name of the Lord! Through you do kings rule, and the only-begotten Son of God has become a star of light to those who were sitting in darkness and in the shadow of death. Amen.

Ngayong Pistang Bayan ng Pasig, muli nating itinataas ang ating mga puso’t pasasalamat sa Diyos, para sa kanyang mga biyaya at pagpapala sa ating bayan, sa ilalim ng pagkakandili ng ating Ina at Reyna, si Maria, ang Inmaculada Concepcion! Mula sa ating mga ninuno hanggang sa kasalukuyan, ang Pistang ito ay tanda ng pamimintuho, pagkakaisa, at pananampalataya ng bawat Pasigueño, ng buong Diyosesis, maging ng mga manlalakbay mula sa mga karatig-bayan. Nawa’y papag-alabin muli ng araw na ito ang taimtim nating pag-ibig sa pinakamamahal nating Ina.

O Mother of the King of the Universe, most perfect member of the human race, our tainted nature's solitary boast, we turn to you as mother, advocate, and mediator. O Holy Mary, assist us in our present necessity. By your Immaculate Conception, O Mary conceived without sin, we humbly beseech you from the bottom of our heart to intercede for us with your Divine Son and ask that we be granted the favor for which we now plead...Amen.

Today we commemorate the 17th Anniversary of the Canonical Coronation of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception of Pasig on December 07, 2008.
