Sa gitna ng malalakas na hangin at walang tigil na ulan, sama-sama tayong manalig sa pag-aaruga ng ating Mahal na Ina, Nuestra Señora del Rosario. Nawa’y ang panalanging ito ay maging sandigan ng bawat pamilya sa oras ng pangamba at pagsubok. Patuloy nating ipanalangin ang kaligtasan ng lahat, lalo na ng mga apektado ng bagyo at ng mga naglilingkod upang iligtas ang kapwa. Sa bawat unos, nawa’y manatili ang ating pananampalataya at pag-asa. Nuestra Señora del Rosario, ipanalangin mo kami. 🙏🏼

Panalangin sa Panahon ng Bagyo ⛈️:

Aming pinakamamahal na Ina, Nuestra Señora del Rosario, lumalapit kami sa iyo sa gitna ng unos at malakas na bagyo. Ipanalangin mo kami sa iyong Anak na si Hesus upang kami’y Kanyang ingatan sa anumang panganib.

Takpan mo kami ng iyong mapagmahal na pag-aaruga. Patahimikin nawa ng Panginoon ang hangin at ulan, at ilayo kami sa baha, sakuna, at kapahamakan. Bigyan Mo rin kami ng lakas ng loob, pagkakaisa, at pananampalataya sa mga sandaling ito ng pangamba.

Alalahanin Mo lalo ang mga mahihirap, ang mga nawalan ng tahanan, at ang mga naglilingkod upang iligtas ang kapwa. Nawa’y manatili kaming matatag sa pananalig at mapayapa sa kalooban.

Nuestra Señora del Rosario, aming Patrona, ipanalangin Mo kami. Amen.

This Altar Servers Month, we give thanks for the young men who faithfully serve at the altar with reverence, humility, and joy.

Every Mass is an opportunity to serve Christ and His Church. May our service continue to strengthen our faith, deepen our love for God, and inspire others to answer His call.

Before the school bells ring once again, the Ministry of Altar Servers of Sta. Rosa de Lima Parish and the Ministry of Altar Servers - Nuestra Señora del Rosario Chapel came together last June 6, 2026, for a day filled with energy, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories.

More than just a day of games and friendly competition, Sports Day became an opportunity to strengthen the bond that unites us as altar servers. Every cheer, every laugh, and every shared moment reminded us that beyond the sanctuary, we are one brotherhood, growing together in friendship, service, and faith.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Ministry of Altar Servers – Nuestra Señora del Rosario Chapel for joining us in this meaningful activity and for sharing in the spirit of fellowship and sportsmanship.

We also express our sincere appreciation to the administrators and personnel of Sta. Rosa Catholic School for generously opening their facilities to us and making this gathering possible.

HAPPENING NOW:

The Ministry of Altar Servers – Nuestra Señora del Rosario Chapel and the Ministry of Altar Servers – Sta. Rosa de Lima Parish are currently holding a joint Sportsfest, bringing altar servers together through fellowship, teamwork, and shared experiences.

More than a day of games and activities, this gathering serves as an opportunity to strengthen the bond of brotherhood, build new friendships, and celebrate unity among those who share the same commitment to serving at the altar.

With deep sorrow and heartfelt remembrance, we honor the life and faithful service of Sis. Linda, lovingly known as “Sister” within our church community, and a devoted servant of the Nuestra Señora del Rosario Chapel.

Her presence was a quiet reflection of true devotion—humble, steady, and sincere. Day after day, she served not for recognition, but out of genuine love for God and for His house. Through her care and dedication, the chapel was not only maintained in order, but also filled with a spirit of faith, discipline, and warmth that will be deeply missed.

Sis. Linda’s life was a testimony of selfless service. She gave her time, strength, and heart to the Church she loved, becoming a familiar and comforting presence to all who entered its doors. Though her earthly journey has come to an end, the legacy of her faith and service remains deeply rooted in the memory of the community she served.

We are forever grateful for her life, her dedication, and her quiet but powerful witness of faith. She will always be remembered not only as a caretaker of the chapel, but as a true servant of God.

Thank you, Sis. Linda, for your faithful service. You will always remain in our prayers and in our hearts.

𝓕𝓵𝓸𝓻𝓮𝓼 𝓭𝓮 𝓜𝓪𝔂𝓸 💐

Ang Flores de Mayo ay isang tradisyong Katoliko na ginaganap tuwing buwan ng Mayo bilang pag-aalay ng mga bulaklak kay Birheng Maria. Isa ito sa mga pinakamasayang pagdiriwang sa Pilipinas dahil pinagsasama nito ang pananampalataya, debosyon, at kultura ng mga Pilipino.

Tuwing Flores de Mayo, nag-aalay ng sari-saring bulaklak ang mga deboto bilang simbolo ng pagmamahal, paggalang, at pasasalamat sa Mahal na Birhen. Karaniwan ding nagsasagawa ng pagdarasal, pag-awit ng mga papuri, at pagrorosaryo sa simbahan.

Sa huling bahagi ng pagdiriwang, isinasagawa ang Santacruzan — isang makulay na prusisyon na nagpapakita sa paghahanap ni Reyna Elena sa Banal na Krus. Tampok dito ang iba’t ibang reynang kumakatawan sa mga kabanalan at birtud.

Kanina, Abril 25, 2026, isinagawa ang Sunduan Festival mula Sumilang patungong Bagong Ilog, kung saan kinuha ang orihinal na imahe ni Santa Rosa at maringal na inihatid pabalik sa Sta. Rosa de Lima Parish.

Sa bawat hakbang ng prusisyon, kasabay ng sayaw at musika, muling nabuhay ang makulay na tradisyon na sumasalamin sa malalim na pananampalataya at pagkakaisa ng komunidad.

Hindi lamang ito isang pagdiriwang, kundi isang makabuluhang pagbabalik—pagbabalik sa pinagmulan, sa kasaysayan, at sa pananampalatayang patuloy na gumagabay sa bawat henerasyon.

🌸 Viva Santa Rosa! 🌸

Makiisa sa makulay at makabuluhang pagdiriwang ng Sunduan Festival! Sama-sama nating buhayin ang ating tradisyon ng pananampalataya, pagkakaisa, at debosyon kay Santa Rosa.

Halina’t saksihan ang kwento ng ating pinagmulan at ipagdiwang ang biyaya ng ating komunidad. 💖

VIVA SANTA ROSA DE LIMA! VIVA! 🌹✨

Mula sa isang makasaysayang paglalakbay na
sinabayan ng kagandahan ng kalikasan, natuklasan ang imahen ng Mahal na Patrona, Santa Rosa de Lima. Sina Ubaldo Intalan ng Bagong Ilog at Celestino Cruz ng Sumilang ay matalik na magkaibigan. Isang araw, binisita nila ang isang dalaga sa Buwayang Bato, Mandaluyong, at umiwas sa mahiwagang yungib ni Doña Geronima.

Sa kanilang pag-uwi, nagpasiya silang mangahoy sa tangos. Habang pauwi, naamoy nila ang halimuyak ng dama de noche kahit araw, kaya't hinanap nila ang pinanggalingan. Sa isang malaking puno ng kakao, natuklasan nila ang isang maliwanag at magandang imahen sa loob ng giwang, napapalibutan ng alitaptap.
Naakit sila sa imahe na may luntiang kasuotan at puting tela ng bombyx mori. Dinala nila ito sa Bagong llog, kung saan dinumog ng mga taga-Sumilang at kalapit pook upang masilayan ito. Sa pagsusuri, nalaman na ito ay ang imahen ni Santa Rosa de Lima.

Simula noon, napagkasunduan ng magkaibigan na Sila'y magsasalitan sa pag-aalaga sa imahen, kung saan kada taon ay susunduin ito mula sa karatig-barangay upang dalhin sa kanilang barangay at makapiling nila ang mahal na patrona, si Santa Rosa de Lima.
